A long time favorite of our guests, The Pasta Tasting at Osteria Mozza is now exclusively available at the Amaro Bar, Monday through Thursday evenings. In this five course menu, enjoy a selection of four of our classic pasta dishes, some of which are only available in this tasting menu, and end the meal with a seasonal dessert. A wine pairing is available for an additional $65. On trendy Melrose Ave in Los Angeles, this Michelin-starred gem offers an impeccable dining experience that’s well worth a visit. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was inviting yet sophisticated—a perfect blend of upscale charm and relaxed elegance. Guido, the front-of-house manager, greeted us warmly and set the tone for the evening, while our waiter, Shalamar, provided attentive and knowledgeable service that made navigating the menu a delight. We started with the gnocchi fritti—crispy, pillowy bites that set the stage for a decadent evening. The sweetbreads were expertly prepared, with a rich, velvety texture that melted in the mouth, while the duck confit was cooked to perfection, its tender meat balancing flavors of savory and sweet in every bite. Each dish felt like a thoughtful orchestration of flavors, textures, and presentation, befitting their Michelin star status. Adding a personal touch, the owner was visible throughout the evening, making rounds to ensure each table was having an exemplary experience. It’s rare to see such hands-on involvement, and it contributed to a feeling of warmth and meticulous care. Though our meal was fantastic, I can’t wait to return to explore their renowned mozzarella bar menu, which I’ve heard is a must-try. With its superb cuisine, exceptional service, and vibrant atmosphere, this restaurant has set a new standard for dining on Melrose. Highly recommended!

We celebrated our son's 8th birthday here and the entire staff went our of their way to make him feel welcome. He was so happy throughout the meal and is already asking if we can return for his 9th birthday. Thank you to all the staff at Osteria Mozza (and Nancy) for bringing so much joy to Los Angeles for many years. Must gets: -Mozzarella Trio with an extra order of garlic bread -Butter and sage pasta -Brioche Tart (this item made Julia Child cry tears of joy!)

Service was impeccable, both cocktail and wine suggestions were spot on, trio mozza cheeses were delicious, charcuterie plate was perfect size for 5 people, corn ravioli is exceptionally good, I loved! ricotta egg ravioli, yellowtail entree was superb. You can not go wrong with any choice but if you have doubts, ask your server...they know. Dinner, with tip, came up to around $125 per person for 3 appetizers, 3 pasta dishes, 2 entrees, 2 sides, 3 glasses of wine and 2 cocktails. Well worth the price.

The food and service are exceptional at Mozza. This is the best restaurant and we love it. We have never had a bad meal.

amazing! would recommend to anyone in the LA area - also take your waiter’s advice! they recommended a dish that I wouldn’t normally order, and it ended up being one of my favorite pasta dishes i’ve ever had!
