L'Osteria Morini, fondée en 2010 dans le quartier de Soho à New York, est en fait le rêve devenu réalité du chef Michael White, soit celui d'apporter la cuisine réconfortante et l'esprit convivial de la région italienne d''Émilie-Romagne aux États-Unis. Après s'être établis à Soho, dans le centre de Manhattan, ils ont pensé qu'il était temps de partager tout cet amour avec le Garden State. Le chef Michael White et le Groupe Altamarea ont toujours pris l'engagement d'apporter une nourriture de qualité supérieure de New York au New Jersey. Cet engagement a été réaffirmé en amenant le très acclamé restaurant de Soho, l'Osteria Morini, à Bernardsville, au New Jersey.

The food is great. This time I had the chopped salad the focaccia appetizer and both were delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartender made a cosmo which I loved. This is one of my favorite local places to go… you will not be disappointed. The only negative is the drinks are expensive.

We love this restaurant! As usual the food was delicious; we started off with the muscles and we recommend asking for extra bread to lap up the sauce. Then my husband had the tagliatelle and I have the ravioli. We recommend both. We saved room for dessert and had the fruit cobbler with vanilla gelato. Yum. A special shout out to our waitress, Sarah who was attentive but didn’t hover. The whole staff was a pleasure. The only negative was the very low lighting which made it difficult to see the menu.

The only thing bad about this restaurant is the number of people who have found out that it’s truly one of New Jersey’s best Italian restaurants bar none. If you were looking to find your standard run of the mill eggplant and veal Parm side of overcooked penne pasta this isn’t the place for you. Here they specialize in actual house made pasta, not like most places that claim to have it and really just buy it from an outside purveyor, along with a compliment of entrées that One would truly find in a small European family run Trattoria. The menu is small because everything is guaranteed to be fresh and expertly prepared from a simple roast half chicken to grilled New York strip. This is the kind of place that you go after you’ve gone to all the other so-called best Italian restaurants in New York and New Jersey to realize what they were actually shooting for but missed.

Great restaurant. Service and food were exceptional! Handmade pasta made great in house every day and you can taste the difference. Focaccia bread appetizer was wonderful. Crispy potatoes for the side dish cannot and should not be missed. And finally the bombolonis and tiramisu for dessert is a perfect way to end the meal!!

Food was fantastic. The "ambiance" was non existent. Our server was wonderful. For a high end priced eatery, it sorely lacks the "feel" of one.

loved the pianist perect tunes for the location. the martin was 21$ and that is outrageous. This is New jersey not NYC. The pasta dish was excellent. But 21 for a martini...no a special martini just a vodka martini is crazy.
