The story of food is the story of friendship. When you combine Irish conviviality with the irrepressible Italian nature, it’s always going to be a good thing. Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. At Osteria Lucio they unite their love of Irish and Italian food with the very best of produce, from both countries.

The food is authentic Italian. One of the only restaurants in Dublin that knows what al dente pasta is. The servers are wonderfully attentive and you are never left waiting for a refill or a chance to ask for something more. Being all the self discipline you have to say no to the tiramisu and the espresso martini. Yes, the space is a little quirky but it reminds me of an outrageous wine tasting I had in Umbria where we ate in the cellar next to the wine barrels! All around exquisite!

What a gem! I found this lovely Italian when booking somewhere for a friend and I to have a bite before a gig at the 3Arena. It is fantastic spot with delicious authentic Italian food and very fairly priced with a nice pre-theatre menu. However what sets it apart is the incredible service - every member of staff was so warm, helpful and attentive - that it really elevated a simple meal to a luxurious experience. I will definitely back for an occasion where I can linger over 3 course and a second glass of wine. The venue is cleverly designed and very intimate so would be a great date location.

The food is amazing. Great price, great service, great atmosphere, great wine list and amazing dessert. Top notch service. Hidden gem in Dublin.

Wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff and the food was absolutely delicious. I would give it 12/10 and I will be definitely back for some more!

We just had a lovely evening. The dinner was perfect for us. The service was efficient but warm and the welcome 100 %. Highly recommend .

This is a buzzy restaurant. Lots of atmosphere . A variety of tables available but I think the lower tables more comfortable . Food was very tasty. Portions were generous and service very attentive . Would recommend
