Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. Superb lunch, as always, at Osteria Lucio. Unfortunately, we were under pressure time-wise but the kitchen and the waiting staff were very accommodating and ensured things moved along very quickly. As always, the food is top class. Would highly recommend

After a wobble on arrival, it was a great meal (Coincidentally there was a larger booking under a similar name, when we confirmed that it was just two of us we were nearly put on the naughty table in an awkward corner. Luckily the second, correct booking was spotted and we were seated in the nicer, atmospheric main dining area). The food was excellent, fresh and vibrant flavours. Excellent prawns, best-ever flatbread, great pork (a late replacement for lamb, but no disappointment) and chicken dishes. The accompanying sides were generous and sadly we had no room for dessert - so we have to return! Memorably good food, highly recommended.

Always fantascit. This visit I was dining alone :( and the Lucio Team took amazing care of me. If you see a starter of Fig/Parma/Gorgonzola - do not pass this up! If you see the 'Summer Lamb Shoulder Al Forno' still on the menu, you must have this. AMAZING! Thank you Chef and Team Lucio! See you soon!

Lovely staff, ideal before a show in the Bord Gáis they have timings perfect without you feeling rushed!

We visited this restaurant after a show at the Bord Gais theatre There were 2 adults and 3 children dining and on a positive note the service was excellent and there was a lovely atmosphere. It was however, disappointing that they no longer served pizzas especially for the children and there are still photographs of pizzas on the website. The children’s meals were overpriced for what they were- €14 for a small portion of pasta with basic tomato sauce and €7 for 2 small scoops of ice cream: however, the fish special (monkfish) for the adults was excellent. We intended to get a bottle of Prosecco but at €65 for the cheapest option we got white wine instead. We wouldn’t go back again with children, it’s perhaps better suited to adults which is a shame given the proximity to the theatre.

Great dinner before a show at Bord Gais. We tried a variety of pasta and a fish dish- all fabulous! Loved the cocktails as well. Def recommend for food, service and vibe!
