The story of food is the story of friendship. When you combine Irish conviviality with the irrepressible Italian nature, it’s always going to be a good thing. Chefs Ross Lewis and Luciano Tona have been friends through Michelin starred food, and tall tales, for many years. This is a buzzy restaurant. Lots of atmosphere . A variety of tables available but I think the lower tables more comfortable . Food was very tasty. Portions were generous and service very attentive . Would recommend

Osteria Lucio is a fantastic neighborhood gem! Incredible food, great staff and wonderful selection of drinks. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for elevated Italian cuisine.

Very tasty seafood and charcuterie. The tiramisu was delicious, and the wine was excellent. However, the pasta was unsatisfactory, with the carbonara being salty on the first bite but lacking salt and flavor when mixed, the ragu being between all dente and none cooked, and the sauce falling short. It was nice that they changed to cod for me.

You can't go to Osteria Lucio without having a really great evening whether there are several of you or just you and a friend. Everyone who works there makes you feel so welcome and their service is really 'outstanding'! And, oh yes, the food. Do you know what I love most about this place - they have their own menu. What do I mean by that? You feel that they have sat down and thought about what lots of different people want to eat. And, like so many places around Dublin they haven't ramped up their use of chilli. Oh, it's there where it should be but not in every dish!

As always. An exceptional experience. Food is simply amazing and as near to authentic Italian as you would get outside of Italy. Top drawer cooking and first rate service. We couldn’t recommend Lucio highly enough. Trust me. Try the burrata, the suckling pig and the tiramisu. If you don’t. You missed out.

Outstanding as always. The staff are so welcoming. The restaurant space is really ambient, and the food big on flavours. I always love to return- when I can get a table. Thank you OL

From start to finish the food was outstanding Yellow tail crudo , Lasagna were worth a special mention. Had a wonderful night.

We had the pre theatre menu and it was absolutely delicious. Arancini were sublime , the yellowfin was amazing and the chicken saltimbocca was to die for. Tiramisu dessert was perfect. Everything came packed with flavour . Staff were very friendly too and we both really loved the restaurant. I honestly can’t wait to return to Osteria Lucio.
