Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past.

We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening.

Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve reveled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour.

Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion.

    Great experience. Staff was extremely helpful and gave exceptional service. The VITELLO TONNATO was incredible. The lamb CARRE di AGNELLO was also cooked incredibly well and very tasty.

    Appetizers were great! Was expecting entrees to be amazing but it was good. Carpaccio and forcacia is a must try

    two of the most famous items on the menu were disappointing (the Fucaccia and the calamari homemade pasta) we tried other 5 plates and they were excellent

    The food and service are exceptional, and the cocktails are unique, such as the Negroni Giulia. If you are in Toronto, this is the place to go.

    I’d been waiting to try this restaurant for awhile and had high expectations given its high reviews and Michelin star. Ambience and service were excellent. The appetizer scallop crudo was okay - not a ton of flavour and small dish the high price. I had the squid pasta as a main which was delicious and flavourful but left feeling hungry. Overall, while some dishes were great, others were a let down and didn’t live up to the hype with the high price for little amount of food given.
