Osteria Giulia sprung to life in our imaginations as a tribute to Italian traditions of the past.

We wanted to create one simple, beautiful thing. Somewhere outside of your busy life, outside of your surroundings, outside of time. An environment, an experience, an entire evening.

Osteria Giulia is intimate, warm and familiar. We’ve reveled in her every detail. We’ve established a rarified menu focusing on Northern Italian cuisine and delicate coastal, Mediterranean flavour.

Giulia is a new imagining of what an Italian restaurant can be. It always was the place of our dreams, the reason for our collaboration, and the culmination of—and conduit for—our collective passion.

Osteria Giulia, le petit frère du restaurant Giulietta du chef Rob Rossi et du restaurateur David Minicucci, s'appuie sur les éloges de son aîné. Les plats d'inspiration ligure proposés par Rob Rossi, comme les pâtes tressées à la main avec des calamars sauvages, sont à la fois frais et raffinés. Le lieu dégage la même élégance discrète que la salle à manger calme du restaurant à Yorkville.

Very disappointing.Service was really bad for a Michelin star restaurant. We ordered a super expensive wine that we have had a few times before, so we are very familiar with it. The sommelier took the bottle away, we didn’t see him open it or decanter it.. after he brought it back, we just thought that the wine needs a bit more time to open up, but at the end we were pretty sure they did not serve us what we ordered. We will not be coming back at this place

Never disappointed. Always a great experience. Recommend the Foccacia di recco, vitello tonnato, and risotto.

Osteria Giulia is a restaurant that needs to be on your “must visit” list. We had a lovely experience. An extensive wine selection and our sommelier made an excellent choice for our meal. Food was incredible. We chose the Indivia e Pera (sooo good - vinaigrette is delicious) and Insalata di Pomodori as our starters. We shared our mains which were the Grilled Market Seafood and Tortelloni ai Funghi - both were outstanding. Service and ambience were top notch. Highly recommend.

Our original time was 9 pm and couple of days they open 5 pm and I took that time of reservation. 24 hours of our reservation, Daniella called to confirm and I confirmed. She also mentioned that they don't have a both section and I specifically said that hoping we will not ended up on the bar section which I read from the review, guest what they gave us the Table 3 which is we feel so special with a table cloth and kind of a private table, thank you for giving that special table. Also, I want to acknowledge for giving us a heads up that there is a time frame of our dinning, at least we are aware. From Usher to our Server Giancarlo was exceptional, they help us from picking our order from menu and delivering to the table - they explained well, what is included to the food and give us a warning or caution if it is too hot the food and plate. My husband was the birthday celebrant, according to him this is our the BEST of among the Best restaurant we're been tried. From people to the food - presentation to the taste it is really speaks to the taste of food, it is truly a MICHELIN STAR. We order; Appetizers: FOCACCIA Di RECCO, VITELLO TONNATO Pasta: TROFIE al PESTO GENOVESE, TAGLIOLINI al GRANCHIO, LORIGHITTAS al MARE, SPAGHETTI NERI ai GAMBERI Platter: FRUTTI di MARE alla GRIGLIA Dessert: MILLEFOGLIE al COCCO, MONTE BIANCO, TIRAMISU alla GIULIA Drinks: ALBA CHIARA, MESSICANO Those food we ordered are the most popular food. Definitely we will back again. Thank you Osteria Giulia for the unforgettable experience you've done, kiddos to Giancarlo.

What a wonderful experience all around. The food was just incredible and the service was professional and flawless. Thank you to our server Gian Carlo I believe, who curated a fabulous menu for us. Lodovica, you and your team have created something very special. Outstanding. We can’t wait to go back!

Great food, service and ambience. Quite noisy in the restaurant, had to raise our voice to chat. I made a request at opentable to put hbd words on dessert, but they only put candle on it which is a bit disappointing.

We had one of the best, if not, the best meal we have ever had in Toronto (and we are Torontonians). Everything was superb. My only caveat is how difficult it is to get a reservation. This review and others like it may make this even more challenging!
