Osteria del Pastaio, specializes in traditional Italian Cuisine. Our menu reflects the culinary team’s passion for using only the freshest ingredients. Our Artisan pastas are made daily, our breads are baked fresh each morning, our seasonal desserts and candies are hand-made. Our soups are all from vegetarian stock and whenever possible our produce comes from local organic farmers. The pasta was just ok. The Cacio was unlike anything I ever had in Italy or elsewhere and not in a good way. Very little pepper and a very different cheese used. Would not recommend.

We Visited this restaurant on my Girlfriends birthday, we have been there before, We ordered Mushrooms that came out with chopped Mushrooms with asparagus, kind of odd for a Italian Restaurant, No cheese, garlic, oregano very plain dish, the Lobster bisque tasted blah with not a lot of seasoning. My Girlfriend ordered their pasta with rosemary that they light on fire with brandy. The pasta was merely overcooked this time and very dry. The Tiramusi overly loaded with to much liquor and tasted more alcohol than cake. Unfortunately for these kind of small Italian Restaurants we were charged way more than the average visit and the Italian Selection in the Gold Coast exceeds far more quality, pleasure, and taste. Get it Together Osteria del Pastaio.

The cheese wheel pasta is worth the trip alone, amazing food! If you can sit outside I would highly recommend it! Would definitely go back again.

Horrible service led to a terrible experience. Food was delicious and the ambience was lovely. Our server continually forgot our order to the point that my Son and I waited an inordinate amount of time after our appetizers to be told that our entrees had never been submitted.

Pastas were fantastic. Irene our waitress was rude and disrespectful for no reason. We went for my birthday and ended feeling like we kind of wasted our time there. Also, everyone takes out their phones and records the cheese wheel pasta being prepared and it can get incredibly loud so eat outside if you want a quiet experience.

Small charming space. Food is delicious and presented beautifully. Highly recommend the calamari, beef carpaccio, carbonara, agnolotti, and foccacia bread service. I didn't see any gratuity added to the check, and there wasn't a 3%surcharge either. Will dine again!

While we did not appreciate the nickel and diming (pushing bread and water without disclosing it is charged for, and 3% cc fee), the house-made pasta was good as were the drink and entree portions.
