Osteria del Pastaio, specializes in traditional Italian Cuisine. Our menu reflects the culinary team’s passion for using only the freshest ingredients. Our Artisan pastas are made daily, our breads are baked fresh each morning, our seasonal desserts and candies are hand-made. Our soups are all from vegetarian stock and whenever possible our produce comes from local organic farmers. Showed up about 30 minutes early for our reservation and they were able to accommodate! Since it was beautiful out we sat outside but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous about the service. However, my worries were unjustified as our server was so kind so attentive and quite entertaining!! The food was quick and so delicious all of our plates were clean by the end of the meal! The show with the signature dish was adorable and food definitely lived up to the hype. The espresso martini is one of the best I’ve had and the lemon drop martini was also outrageously good! I would recommend this place 10 times over!

Delicious meal from start to finish! Our waiter(Christian) was wonderful! It was the best meal we had while visiting Chicago. The pasta was amazing and the lamb chops were done to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was outstanding. We started with lobster bisque and a lobster neopolitan that were both delicious. We repeated a prior choice of lobster ravioli - the sauce is amazing! We shared a wonderful pea tart with interesting gelato. Great evening and a fine way to end our 54th anniversary.

Walking in feels like it needed a good cleaning. Wine was not good Ceasars salad was great and pasta cheese wheel was just disappointing. It feels like a scam resto as I know the pasta instm made fresh to order ... don't bother.
