Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life.

Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant.

That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner. Ed’s training in Bologna, considered the food capital of Italy, and Marco’s upbringing in Palermo, known for its incredible street food, bridge northern and southern Italian culinary tradition in a way that’s never been done in Salt Lake City.

Whenever we are in SLC we make sure to dine here for dinner. Great menu and the service fantastic. Love the panna cotta with the strawberry compost. We dream of it often. We feel welcomed and the servers make our time there special. Thanks for the wonderful foodie memories. We will be back again!

We went to the restaurant before the Play at Pioneer Theatre Company. We were seated without waiting. Everything was great…food, wine, espresso! Our server, Michelle, was outstanding. It was a perfect evening to dine on the outdoor patio. Will certainly go back before our next play.

The service and the server were absolutely fantastic, offering excellent recommendations for incredibly tasty dishes. The sea bass special, in particular, was a standout choice.

Vincenzio (server) and Joshua were prompt, kind and the food was delicious! They remembered my niece's bday and brought a specialized dessert out while singing. Very appreciated. I will be back!

Very very good food, service, ambience… could not ask for a better experience. I will throw in just for fun I am a well seasoned pampered traveler.

The Gorgonzola and Pear Ravioli was outstanding! Pizza was delicious but not outstanding. Service and ambiance was really nice. We will definitely return!

When you pull up to the restaurant, it's warm and inviting, and looks like a beautiful patio in Italy. We hoped for the best and we're so excited to be there. So incredibly disappointed by our experience on all levels of food and service.

We had great service and the food was vert good. I just wish they offered a 1/2 salad to go with a meal. We went on a Thursday and it wasn't as crazy busy as it can get on a weekend.
