food is prepared by the owner/chef, the pasta is freshly made and doesn't taste like boxed pasta. The appetizer was delicious and were our meals. They arrived at our table still hot. Our waitress was great. She was quick with our food and helped us select other entree's. We will certainly be back here.

We very much enjoyed our dinner at Osteria Ama. The beet/burrata salad and thin crust pizzas were delicious, and the tiramisu was outstanding! We had the pleasure of being served by Ben, who helped to make our dining experience even better.

This was our first visit and the restaurantis a BYOB. The food was excellent from the appetizers to dinner and dessert. The wait staff was attentive without being invasive. We were very pleased in coming to this restaurant We will definitely become a regular patron.

This place is a hidden gem! Food is amazing, fantastic blend of Italian and other Mediterranean flavors. Roasted salmon and the pistachio pasta were so good. Couldn’t ask for better service. Has parking which is huge for west Chester. The inside is very nicely decorated, my only small complaints were that the AC was blasting, and when you first walk up to the building it looks deserted. The room you see walking up is a private dining room that’s empty, but the actual inside was a nice crowd.

Entire experience was fantastic. Best gnocchi I have had in years and the rose sauce was delectable. Can’t wait to go back.

My wife & I returned for our fourth meal at Osteria Ama West Chester. We both ordered the Short Rib and Ravioli Special. My beef was fall off the bone tender, while my wife’s beef could have been more tender. The serving size was more than we could finish. At $45.00 each it was a little pricey. The waitress was very attentive and the meal was served quickly. We enjoy the ambience of this restaurant and will return again.

Osteria Ama is tucked into the corner of a small shopping center, but we were so happy to find it! I was expecting a very small seating area inside, but there are actually 3 to 4 different seating areas, with plenty of room between tables. The rooms are decorated nicely, with some modern touches, and nice lighting. We had heard the food was terrific and we were not disappointed! The bread was hot out of the oven and absolutely delicious! Their version of Cesar salad was a nice size as a side salad with the creative touch of small roasted corn instead of croutons - we loved it. We also shared the sausage and broccoli rabe appetizer. One of the best I have had! My husband had the spicy spaghetti with crabmeat and I tried the lobster ravioli special. My husband loved his dish. I was surprised by my entrée. Our waiter did not explain anything - what arrived was a large plate (could have shared between 2 people) of 6 raviolis covered with an assortment of seafood - mussels, scallop, calamari, shrimp and crab! It was really more of a seafood medley than lobster ravioli. The sauce was also a bit spicy, which I would have liked to have known ahead of time. The dish was prepared extremely well and was very good - just not what I had in mind. There was also live music! A singer entertained us throughout our meal - we really enjoyed her singing!
