Wonderful evening, food and service were spot on. Pizza & Scallops for appetizers, both very good. 4 different entrees and everyone was quite pleased. Tiramisu & Crème Brûlée finished the meal.

Almost everything was beyond salty. The pasta that came with the veal Bosco just tasted like salt. The sauce for Bosco was also salty. It has capers in it but seemed like extra salt was added. Not the first time we’ve had this issue. The grilled artichokes seemed more like steamed. The penne rapini was a bit bland and it seemed like they used spinach instead of Rapini. It’d be nice if you were able to work on the acoustics. So loud. Our server kept saying she’d be back “Later” when she stopped by. Later was literally unfortunately..

It was a very warm day, and the restaurant was quite warm. I know it can be hard to keep a space cool in the significant heat. If that is the case, at least offer your guests cold water. When our glasses were filled it was with lukewarm water, no ice in sight. We had to ask for ice. Our server was very nice, but she was completely overwhelmed. While it looked like she was the only server in the place, we later learned there was someone else also serving. However, our server was taking care of the majority of the tables and it was just too busy for that. We ordered the “Mixed Olives and Cheeses” and the Calamari. The “mixed olives” was listed under “while you wait”. We waited quite a bit and it didn’t arrive until the Calamari arrived. The “Mixed Olives and Cheeses” was a few small black olives that tasted like they were right from the can and a few small green olives. The “cheeses” was just cheese, three small pieces of tasteless feta. All of it had some sort of olive oil and herb mixture which didn’t add anything to the dish. The Calamari was rubbery and the breading was falling off before you could take it out of the container in which it was served. The dipping sauce had clearly been put in a small dish hours before as the edges had begun to dry out and a “skin” had started to form. I ordered Chicken Parm. It was served on a cast iron dish which was fine, except it had been heated so long that the sauce had fully dried out and burned some on the sides. Someone else at our table ordered the same thing. Their dish was served with more sauce that wasn’t burned. This is obviously how it was intended to be served but the kitchen could not manage to get both out the same way. Honestly, even with all that, I would be tempted to try the place again. The sauce that should have been on my chicken was on my pasta and was tasty.
