Osteria Ama was a new find for us. Even though we have lived in the area for over five years,w e only recently discovered this Italian BYOB. The servers were friendly, but hurried. The food was good, but not great. We will give it another try soon.

I love this restaurant more and more every time I go. The energy there is intoxicating, and much of this is due to the fantastic staff. Maria and Danielle took care of us last night, and everything was perfect. My request to make some changes to the porcini risotto was happily accommodated, and it was delicious. Simply amazing!

Food was good , although the appetizer was supposed to have prosciutto on it and it was some other kind of ham , so it was so so

We had dinner at Osteria Ama last night. The food was fine but we were shocked when we got the bill and discovered that the entree my husband had (tne of the evening's specials) was 47.00. She hadn't told us the price and it was about twice the price of most of the other entrees. We won't be going back even though it's in the neighborhood.

We started out with no electricity due to a storm and were wondering if we should stay. We're glad we did. Food was great and Maria is a fantastic waitperson. Very engaging and helpful.

Food & service has always been good there, but the noise level is really getting to be annoying. The other couple my wife & I brought there (their 1st time there) loved the food and service but the also commented on how noisy the place was. We couldn't engage in any conversation unless we spoke very loudly. We all decided to skip desserts just to get away from the noise. This seems like an easy problem to fix by simply adding accoustic ceiling panels to mitigate the echoes from all the simultaneous conversations going on.
