Was excited to try this new hotspot in the Grove. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm and we were seated quickly. The ambiance was spectacular and the restaurant is cozy. Our waiter was very nice but it took 5-10 minutes to have water brought to the table and after ordering - our food took 45 minutes to an hour. It was a Sunday night, and the restaurant was not busy. The overall experience was fair to good but really overpriced. When paying top dollar for dinner, the service should be impeccable and we shouldn’t have had to wait as long as we did for food to be brought to the table. At one point, my husband had to get up and retrieve the water bottle out of the bucket and poured us all water because our waiter was nowhere in sight - completely unacceptable. Come on Miami - you can do better.

The menu online differed from one given to me and my thought the selection more limited. It ordered the risotto with prawns which was on the specials menu. It came with one prawn and was too salty for me. My friend loved her skirt steak and ate some of the risotto as salty food doesn’t bother her. The burrata appetizer was tasty but small. And the kale salad was nothing special. The same could be said for the warm cookie and ice cream dessert. Limited selection and none sounded very appealing. Our waiter Jose was very nice and attentive.

We got New Years Eve reservations, and it was the most amazing experience! Such a hidden gem here in coconut grove.

Ossobuco in Coconut Grove, is a hidden gem! Fantastic service, specially the one we received from our server, Jose! This was our first time and he made sure we understood the menu. He was warm and attentive. The cauliflower dish is an exceptional add-on to any entree and the filet was cooked to perfection! Will be back soon and highly recommend!

This is our 4th visit and Ossobucco has been consistently a winner! Great food, great service! A beautiful place with wonderful ambiance.

This is a 12/26/2024 review addendum: I did go back. After receiving various encouragements to not be so hasty in my review, we went back to Ossobuco to try again. I am glad we did because this time everything was great. Not sure what happened the last time, but this time the NY strip and picanha were very flavorful. Staff were awesome again and it really started filling up at 7:00PM, so make sure not to wait too long to make reservations. We will go back. 12/19/2024: Very disappointed in this restaurant. It has tremendous set up and furnishings are attractive; however, the food was a real let down. We had different cuts of meat (NY strip and picanha), and they were bland and tasteless. Sad for a place that is supposed to be a grilled meat specialist. The sweet and sour cauliflower was very good as were the truffle fries, but a small salad was $19.00. The "chimichurri" was basically chopped parsley and oil. Service was very good and efficient. Will not go back.
