Noise level in a good way is high. This was an unbelievable experience. The food was excellent. The vibe was amazing. It was probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had an open table made it possible because they were lined up around the corner.

There’s nothing like Christmas in New York thanks to incredibly decorated restaurants such as Oscar Wilde!!! An amazing experience!! Loved it!!!

Christmas experience is everything you want it to be, but expect pub food and slow service. Glad we went and experienced it

We absolutely loved the Christmas decorations! The food was average and the service was slow. What I disliked was receiving a text while we were still eating our entree saying we had reached our time limit and that it was time to go. Mind you it took 40 minutes to receive our appetizer and even longer for our entrees. Our overall experience was damaged by this tacky text.

We were so excited to visit here at Christmas but it was so overbooked. It Took 45 minutes to be seated after our reservation time, our server came by 15 minutes after that to ask what type of water we wanted and then didn’t come back for another 30 minutes with no water to take our order. We did get our drinks but never got our food. After 2 hours and 15 minutes we left. Terrible.

The burger was delicious. The only problem was that we had to wait more than one hour for the food.

The food was great. The decorations was off the charts and the service was outstanding. We all enjoy having a great time at the restaurant.

Such a great experience! We were a party of 6 and went during the holidays, the decorations were beautiful. You have to make reservations far in advance, I was able to make them through Open Table. People who didn’t make reservations were waiting to come in but we were seated right away. The waitress was very nice and attentive. It was a tight squeeze getting to our table since it was very busy but once we were seated we had room and didn’t feel like we were on top of eachother. We went during brunch and I had the Eggs Benedict, a few people in my party had the steak and eggs, everything was delicious we were very happy with our meals. We can’t wait to go again.

our reservation was at 8:15 and when we got there the entire area by the hostess was packed full of people (like sardines) all who had reservations. we heard people had been waiting for an hour. at 8:50 the hostess asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar bc if not we’d have to wait even longer, even though our reservation was at 8:15. what’s the point of having a reservation if you can’t sit down on time or where you booked??????

Constant reminders about reservation and follow-ups about their 15 min grace period policy which they don’t heed themselves. Showed up for reservation 5 minutes early, ended up waiting 30 min for our table. Hostess brought us to a table where there were people already sitting, she had to ask them to clear out. Table was a makeshift high top table for 3 at most for our party of 5. It was sandwiched between the DJ stand (and speakers) and the wait staff pathway for dirty dish deposit. Clearly not a table used for reservations. After a few minutes of sitting with table vibrations from loud music and the noise of dishes being discarded in the bins behind us we asked for a manager. We were promptly brought to another high top table amidst the overcrowded bar and tables with hardly any space between each other. Food took an HOUR to arrive, then waitress proceeds to rush us out of restaurant within few minutes of food arriving. Showing up with the credit card machine one time and the second time asking if we needed boxes for any of the food we were still eating. Burgers were over cooked, mussels cold, and overall quality of food not worth the hour wait. Do not recommend this place at all. Fine enough for a drink and appetizers to enjoy the lavish Christmas decorations and loud Christmas music, but total waste of money and not worth your energy or time. The line for walk ins was obscene, would never waste my time for that abysmal experience. Even with a reservation the treatment was pitiful.
