Danilo Orofino was born in Palermo, Sicily, where he studied the culinary arts as well as restaurant and hotel management. He opened his first restaurant/coffee bar in Sicily at the age of 18. After 4 years of hard work, he closed the place with dreams of doing even more with his life.

Our first time here, the experience was phenomenal. Food, drink, ambience were perfect. Our server Adam was fantastic!!! Can’t wait to visit again. 🤗 We will be back.

Well we stop over in Fredericksburg pm our way to my to see family several times a year and stay on Fredericksburg va each time. Tried several restaurants over the years and found Orofino last year. Will never ever eat anywhere else in Fredericksburg again. Omg is all we can say.

Really outstanding food that tastes fresh and delicious! This is Italian Italian food, not super saucy American Italian food. They have a monthly/seasonal portion of the menu that has fresh selections. We’ve eaten here several times now and it is always delicious. Service is friendly and professional. The ambiance is ok, nice casual. The bruschetta appetizer and meatballs appetizer are excellent. I also recommend the eggplant.

We love Orofino! It is one of our favorite Date Night places. Food is delicious, service is excellent, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is perfect.

Simply tremendous food and service. We Love Orofino - one of our overall faves in Fredericksburg!!! If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. The monthly specials, based on different regions of Italy is such a great idea - allowing us to tour the culinary delights of such a delicious country….!! :^) And the service is truly top-notch. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Our early evening dinner was superb. Started with wine and charcuterie board, and dinner was served. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended for world class Italian cuisine.
