   We’ve visited Ormer in Jersey a while back and it was fantastic so wanted to try Ormer Mayfair. It’s just so much more stuffy, not formal, stuffy. The food had some really imaginative dishes and some really, really good cooking and the head chef came out for one dish and was super laid back and the dish was fantastic. But there were 2/3 of the 7 dishes that just didn’t work, the green olives with the pigeon just weren’t needed. The Walldorf is super creative,but the Iberico jelly isn’t great - too much going on and it’s just too salty. The service is fussy, it’s not about you having a good time or enjoying it, it’s a about them and what they want - we literally sat for 25 mins with the menus when it’s a set tasting menu, there are no options, it was just inattentive. We went to Pavyllon last week for less money and the atmosphere, food, staff, wine, music, team were all so much better. Or get a flight to Jersey and go to Ormer there.

   I booked this dinner for my husband's birthday. We have specific dietary requirements and have eaten in a number of Michelin star restaurants. I couldn't fault the meal or the service, which was exceptional. Before I thought to remind the restaurant of our dietary requirements they not only acknowledged this but presented us with a bespoke menu showing an in-depth understanding. Each course was a feast for all senses. Would highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return.

   Outstanding. Food exceptional, fresh and creative. Service excellent. Very pleasant quiet art deco room inside boutique hotel.

   It’s the best kept secret in london! Delicious food, great service, small chic hotel, white table cloths, wonderful wine list… and moderately priced. We had an amazing time!

   The vegetarian tasting menu was outstanding and really creative. Compliments to the chef! The service was outstanding and we enjoyed the staffs humour and talk with the explanation of the dishes. We would highly recommend. The mushroom pasta dish was 11/10!

   Excellent. Wine beautifully paired and every course was delicious, exciting food. Piotr the sommelier was brilliant and highly entertaining. Loved how they managed to surprise with every course. Really memorable meal for all the right reasons. We'll definitely return.

   Had an excellent dinner at Ormer Mayfair. Every dish was well-executed, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The tasting menu was a great choice. Standout dishes for us were The Waldorf, the cured Cornish mackerel and particularly its sauce, the Anjou pigeon, and the saffron clementine dessert—each one absolutely incredible. The multiple influences in Chef Sofian Msfeti’s cooking were clearly visible, adding depth and creativity to each dish. The birthday card and drinks offered were a really nice touch, making the evening feel even more special. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

    We had an amazing time at Ormer. The tasting menu is fantastic. Every course is exquisitely presented and tastes wonderful with really interesting combinations of unusual flavours. Each dish and paired wine comes with an explanation which makes it obvious how much thought and care goes into the creation of the menu. All the staff are excellent: Polite, friendly and really make you feel at home.
