Located in the historical city centre, half way between the cathedral, the Town Hall and the Central Market. ORIO is characterised by a new conceptualisation of the Basque tavern based on an overflowing “pintxos” bar along with a short yet varied menu inspired by the fishing villages in the Basque country. The pleasant scent of iron, rust and sea come together to offer something
different in an informal atmosphere which serves the best fish dishes from the Basque Country.

Delicious delicious!! We had mussels to die for and the monkfish was outstanding! Excellent choice and beautiful decor.

This was a group of 9 and we were placed upstairs which was very quiet. Downstairs appeared to be quite lively. That said, we had a great time. Service was very good, waitress was helpful, accommodating and patient. Food and drinks were good and seemed reasonably priced.

I had booked this for a 50th birthday celebration. The service was truly awful. From a limited menu, the most common words the serving staff said to us was 'no'. 'No' there were no vegetarian options, 'No' they had no tomatoes left, 'No' they had no vodka. Very, very poor service. The food itself (the limited food that was available to order) was ok, but given this was a special birthday celebration, I think Burger King would have had more ambience, better service and would have generally been more impressive. Out of the 6 people who attended this meal, not one rated it better than a 1 out of 5.
