Not impressed at all. Our entrees came out 6-8 minutes apart for our group of four. When asked about the other meals, we were told- “we like to bring it out hot when it’s ready.” . My salmon had so much oil on it I couldn’t eat it. Octopus appetizer was extremely chewy and rubbery. Couldn’t accommodate for a simple food allergy. Way over priced for what we got. We won’t be going back. Super disappointed in service and food. Don’t waste your time or money.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, if not the worst! The prices, for the menu items they actually had, were outrageous and the quality and value of the food subpar! The $59 piece of fish was thin and bony, not big enough to make a small sandwich! They were out of several menu items as well as water glasses! The ambiance consisted of kitchen noise on one side and a rock concert on the other! It was impossible to carry on a conversation or hear the server. The fish came without any sides so we ordered fries, which arrived long after the fish and were priced at $1 each! $14 for a small dish! We have dined around the world but unfortunately the worst restaurant we have found is just two miles from our home! We will never darken their door again ! You have been warned!

First off the ambience was amazing. Our server Sidney was the best - knew the menu - knew what to recommend and was so personable. Between the food, the service and the ambience I would highly recommend Origen! Welcome to Gilbert look forward to returning many times. Simply an Amazing experience.

We ordered 2 mocktails those took like 30min cause the bar was slammed. They comped those. Which was cool, mocktails were $14 each, not sure why that high of a price but we were happy they were free. For food we got and shared the Origen salad, bone marrow, ribeye, and lava cake. Salad was great. Bone marrow was delayed but was amazing. Ribeye we ordered medium rare, and it came out as medium but it was very flavorful. Lava cake was delicious. Food was overall amazing though once it came. The service stumbled though, multiple mix ups, and things just taking a long time. It is a new restaurant though so that was a little expected. We will definitely go again in a month or two.

5 o’clock reservation got seated at 5:45. Bar service was extremely slow. Brought out entrree 1st, then sides came out 20 minutes later. Food was good but extremely over priced.

We enjoyed our dishes and our server Juliana was great! She shared her favorites and gave us options. If you like Mole, we loved it with the Campo Grande. We’d order differently next time as one entree may serve two and sides are separate. Cool ambiance and will be sure to try different dishes next time, especially the octopus!
