I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing from start to finish. Right off the bat, our waitress warned us that service here could be inconsistent. I appreciated her honesty, but little did I know that it would be that bad. The timing was completely off — our side dishes came out before the main course, and when our mains finally arrived, they were cold. It was frustrating to see the dishes arrive out of order and at the wrong temperature, showing a serious lack of coordination in the kitchen. What really stood out, though, was the inattentiveness of the manager. We noticed that he visited other tables to check in on them, but he never stopped by ours. This added to our frustration, as we were left feeling like our experience didn’t matter as much. Overall, the only bright spot of the meal was our waitress, who was honest and tried to make the best of a poor situation. However, the food, timing, and lack of attention from management made this a restaurant I wouldn’t recommend.

Food really was excellent, slightly louder than would have wanted little hard to hear my dinning companions but not crazy loud at all food was top notch. Self had pork, wife had fettuccine, son normal burger, daughter had tacos, had guacamole appetizer, honestly can’t think of place where everyone enjoyed there meal and thought was good so 4 people all really enjoyed meal is hard to come by with tip $201 for 2024 in Joe Biden world that’s cheap, things will be different now that we have the correct president who won 3x, but for what it is should be about $125 with tip, but you can’t compare it to a fast casual chain which is getting you for $85 for 4 people so while expensive not over priced for 2024. Can’t stress enough food was absolutely excellent Cooke perfect great quality and flavor. I absolutely loved the atmosphere burnt wood, lighting not bright not dark. Service was good not great could have been slight more attentive, 2 entree brought out and other 2 were 3 minutes behind all should be brought at same time. Had to ask for water refill. Little things again good not great. Very nice server personable.

My wife and I enjoyed our dinning experience at Origen. We started with a grilled watermelon arugula salad which was excellent. I ordered the steak tacos with bone marrow and my wife had the fillet with mashed potato side both dishes delicious.( Beware the bone marrow was hot and I was not warned) The portions were large. I think we could have shared one dish. The lighting is dim, so we had a hard time reading the wine menu.. (we’re a little older, Ha) so we ordered cocktails. Our waitress Kari was very sweet and helpful with suggestions. We will definitely visit again, although on the pricey side, but worth it.

I had higher hopes for the food. It was a great menu, but the actual taste was just okay. Prices fair, service a little scattered but I chalk that up to having just opened and having all new staff still learning. I still recommend checking it out, and we will probably go back in a few months and try again.

Wanted to try this new place. The food was good, but not great. The elote was just cob corn with some Mexican cheese sprinkled on it. Really plain. The server was great and very attentive. Will probably eat hear again, but not in a hurry to do so.

I know this place is new but they have a lot of things to work out. Three main things left a bad taste in my mouth last night. -The hostess was rude and dismissive - The food was not prepared per order and came out in bits -The flavor was bland overall, which is unexpected for this type of food The look of the place is nice and our server was the best part of the place. She tried very hard to keep us happy. I just don’t think this place will be on our list. For $200 a couple without drinks or dessert I would expect a lot more.

My wife and I had dinner here on Sunday and were very excited to try it out! Beautiful restaurant and friendly service. The food was great, but my New York strip took approximately 1 hour to come out after ordering. I did appreciate the fact they told us it would take awhile, but that is quite a long time. After waiting an hour, it still wasn’t timed properly, my wife’s dish was brought out 10 minutes before mine. For a premium price I expect premium timing and premium food. I really wanted to try dessert, but our server advised us it would take 40 minutes for one order of flan, so we passed. We really enjoyed this place and will be back, I just hope they figure their timing out! If they do, it will be excellent.
