Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

The overall experience, while near excellent, was let down by 2 x Tik-Toker young girls who spent the whole time at the adjacent table, flicking and grooming their 'average' hair debris, while posing and photographing each other's self-absorbed mugs, as if totes amaz (no shade) but as if, not in a semi-formal Sunday afternoon, restaurant environment and as if there were no actually amazing sky-high Birmingham views better to take in?? While not the restaurant's fault per se, perhaps it would be a more professional requirement to promote against such self-serving or extra-curricular rational or purpose, to be in a restaurant environment in the first place, other than to meet friends and appreciate the excellent food, while taking in the elevated ambiance and the views, as opposed to whatever that was all about! Take a photo or three yes, but for the whole time at the table, switching seats to "do" each other, like nothing else on the planet except they existed to be worthy of the lens, and all the time, very assured of their own visual excellence and appeal was super-annoying for this adjacent and more mature table to experience and its a pity that staff don't spot such selfish non-dining type social media behaviors and politely ask them to TikTok it down a bit and consider other paying guests who do not wish to be at their photoshoot, but who were being bothered by whatever non-dining activity that was all about. Perhaps to help the staff to enforce politely, the Orelle advert preamble could read, " . . . for this 'one-of a kind' formal and elevated dining experience, smart casual dress please and social media/photography to be limited to a reasonable and considerate level that respects the other paying guests?? Whatever is said in this review, is aimed at the selfish guests in question and YES of course we would recommend Orelle :)

We were gifted a voucher for a 3 course Sunday lunch. Venue is great, the views across Birmingham are superb. Service very efficient and friendly. Food was beautiful although we struggled to eat our dessert as we were full. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely loved it! Decided to go here to celebrate our anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. Great service, delicious food and fabulous venue! Will definitely be back!

We have eaten at Orelle a few times but were really disappointed today that the taster menu was not available. We have had it this time of day before but apparently not now. My red wine had cork it and the steak was ultimately average. We ordered medium rare but it was cooked more than this We have been calling for a Michelin star for one of our favourites but was not near today

Highly recommend. The pre fixe menu is great value as is the wine flight. However, I have noticed prices increase recently. The wine flight has gone up £6 and the bread basket was previously complimentary and is now £4.50. That said, the food is amazing, the service is top notch and the views are spectacular across the city and beyond. Can’t wait to return.
