Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

First time we have been to Orelle, but we will definitely return. The ambience is great with fabulous views across the City. We had the Prix Fixe menu and the food was very good and very, very good value for money. The service was polite friendly and attentive. All in all we very much enjoyed our first visit...

It was our first foray into more luxurious dining and based on this experience it won't be our last! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Orelle - the service was exemplary and the food was delicious. What made it really stand out though was the view; it's clear it's the centrepiece of the restaurant and elevated it (pun intended) from a great restaurant to something very special. We will be visiting again!

We wanted to find somewhere different to meet our friends without spending a fortune and found the Orelle fixed price menu ( early dining) which looked perfect. Restaurant is stunning with amazing views. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. It feels and is special.

The starters looked amazing. Look enough for Instagram, but lacked flavour. The protein on the main course was overcooked. The chicken was served with a tiny potato cut into four pieces that had been roasted to an inch of its life. The cauliflower cheese lacked cheese. Leeks tasted lovely. We like gravy so the thimble amount was no way enough for to roast dinners. A request for more seemed no problem for staff. It was nice to see the dining room busy. Service was ok not amazing.

A lovely evening. Great food and presented at a good pace. The wine flight, was exceptional and perfectly suited to the courses but was too expensive for the amount provided.

This is our 4th visit to Orelle’s and it NEVER disappoints. The food is out of this world and staff are attentive going over and beyond in making sure that the food and drink is to everyone's liking. I would definitely recommend Orelle Birmingham 👌. The only very minor disappointment was given we have celebrated occasions before and previously been given a token to note the occasion. It was our friends special birthday and despite letting them know there was no recognition of this on the night, which was a pity.
