Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

Children £50.We require a deposit on the day of your reservation of £110pp and £50pp for children to secure your table. We offer a full refund policy if the booking is cancelled one week before.

Excellent wine Sauvignon Blanc from South Africa, cocktail was also excellent. Food and service poor. Views over Birmingham is good.

The staff were very friendly but service extremely slow and 2 of our party had to leave before coffee as their parking time was overdue. I think they need to consider the number of walk in bookings they accept. But overall a nice experience location is stunning

Everything about this place is outstanding from the moment you step out of the lift. The views are spectacular of an evening. The staff were so attentive. The steak was the best I’ve had. Loved that they had a DJ in the bar area which added to the ambiance of the restaurant. Highly recommend.

Outstanding views around the city. Food was lovely, I was a little disappointed with my chateau briande, I had hoped at £55 per hear it was served with fries and carrot, which I thought was quite unusual. The only sauce on offer was pepper, which some of our party didn't like, so the waitress had to ask in the kitchen if they could do garlic butter, she came back and said no, only what was on the menu was available, after we questioned their inability to put some garlic and butter together, she returned to say the chef would concoct something, which low and behold was garlic butter. I thought this quite odd for a restaurant of such high caliber. Also the wine I chose had very disapointingly ran out, however the sommelier soon sorted us with her recommendations. Besides this, the evening was very enjoyable. The staff were very nice and attentive. Downside, you have to go down 1 floor in the lift or stairs to go to the loo.

We had a table for six adults and although the table was in the middle of the restaurant, we still had good views of the Birmingham skyline all round and because of the very high ceiling we did not feel restricted in any way. The food was excellent and our son enjoyed the oysters in particular. Save for the oysters, we all had the two course lunch menu which was good value although the 12.5% service charge did feel rather on the high side when paying for six people but not too high to feel comfortable objecting to it. The service for the first course did feel a bit slow but that was in part our own fault for not ordering as soon as possible after we arrived and, as a result, getting caught in the other orders for the lunch time dinners who arrived after we did. The table was booked for the period of two hours and we took this time to have our meal and were not rushed to vacate the table when we had finished it. The only slightly odd feature was the dim lighting for the washrooms on the 23rd floor which was uncomfortably dark and had the feeling of being in a horror chamber.

Fur coat no knickers!! The view is spectacular for anyone knowing the city. Busy, so it had a great feel more like a London restaurant. Food was extremely poor considering the cost. £20 starter and £40-50 main. Staff not training on how to serve properly. Toilets were down some back stair case, where it felt the downtown abbey staff would appear.

We had the set lunch and the 3 wine flight. Great discussion by the sommelier and tempted us with a number of wines that we normally wouldn't choose. They were paired nicely with the food we chose. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Good value for the money and would definitely go back.
