Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

Come and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with family, friends or colleagues. You can enjoy our Christmas Menu for £110 3 courses with a glass of Nyetimber.. Children £50.We require a deposit on the day of your reservation of £110pp and £50pp for children to secure your table. We offer a full refund policy if the booking is cancelled one week before.

We had five course taster menu. Each course was well presented, tasted wonderful and service was impeccable. Great night for a special occasion.

Orelle's position in the middle of Birmingham is spectacular with views all round and most tables have that view. Those suffering from Vertigo shouldn't get a table near the window. We don't suffer and enjoyed picking out the sights. We had the prix fixe lunch - very good value - and very filling. The salmon starter was not only really tasty but was a large chunk and the citrus gel and grapes cut through the fattiness. I wasn't too certain about the coq au vin - the chicken was a little dry even with the jus. The vegetables however were delicious. Dessert was also a treat.

Style over substance. Average food at best - for Michelin star prices. All cold starters that reminded me of wedding food. Basic and not interesting. Chateubriand was £55 per person and was served as 3 slabs of beef - which was average. Disappointed with the food but the wine was superb and the ambience and beautiful views made it a worthwhile visit even though we are £300 down.

We all had a fantastic time. Great food and great service in beautiful surroundings. The views add to the high end feel of the venue.

The staff were attentive and warm, the wine waiter outstanding. We were told our steak would be about 40 minutes which was fine as the ambiance was amazing and views stunning. When it arrived unfortunately it was just warm as was the sauce, the rest of the meal was hot and seasoned. I informed the waitress who did ask if we wanted a new meal - that was not the case as we had waited, just disappointing.

The ambience and service is fantastic and worth the visit. We did choose a preset Sunday menu so our expectations for the food given its price was relatively low. However although service and ambience was faultless the food and freshness left much to be desired . Basically both our roast dishes are tasteless and Yorkshire puddings like paper mache. Roast potatoes were ok but still not as good as a local motorway cafe. Desserts were great and very well presented. We think you go to Orelle for its venue, ambience and drinks. ….the food is well below standard for this establishment. We wouldn’t go back but felt it was worth the visit.

Cocktails were delicious, staff professional and friendly and helpful. Dessert was delicious the roast was ok. View was amazing from the 24th floor and good ambience.

Orelle is a beautiful place that I will recommended to everyone…you have to try it at least once! From the warm welcome when you arrive, to getting in the lift to the 24th floor… the attentiveness, the decor, the ambience - it’s just perfect! Then the food! Don’t judge me for having the bread and butter, it was simply the best bread and butter I’ve ever had in a restaurant! A lovely appetiser for the main event. We both had the duck- it was beautifully presented and then it was a wonderful palate adventure. The collaboration of flavours made each mouthful a delight! It was the perfect portion size. The framboisé dessert was the perfect way to end the meal! Beautifully presented and it tasted wonderful too! partner even got a lovely ‘happy birthday’ plate which was a lovely touch! The wine and drinks were lovely, beautifully glasses and overall lovely cutlery. Orelle has it all - the views, the staff, the decor, the food! It’s 10/10!

We had the fixed price menu for lunch. The restaurant is beautiful with stunning interior, the service was excellent and the food was delicious The attention to detail was impeccable, they even bought out a small decorated plate for our anniversary - such a lovely detail. We had wonderful experience and will definitely be returning.
