Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

I picked Orelle as a surprise birthday treat for my husand and it delivered more than I could have hoped. The service was excellent amd attentive, the food absolutely divine and the view across Birmingham fascinating. Would highly recommend

I booked the restaurant for a special occasion, the location and views were lovely, however the food was dissapointing sadly…the portion size was extremely small and the selection of halal or veggie food was extremely limited…the cost of the dishes and drinks was not worth the tiny portions…we returned home only to have another meal to actually eat something substantial. Sad to write this review. Would recommend for drinks with a view.

The setting is fantastic with mood lighting, impressive floral display and absolutely stunning views over night-time Birmingham. The food was stunningly presented and overall absolutely scrumptious. Staff pleasant, attentive & professional. We arrived at 7.00 and commented to each other that although the dining area was pretty full, lively and very busy it was easy to chat and hear each other (an important feature of a successful dining experience). However, at 9.00 this all changed with the arrival of a DJ in the neighbouring bar with the constant thumping of loud disco type music which from then on made it difficult for us to hear each other. Our waitress said other diners had made similar comments on other occasions. Would strongly suggest management rethink this aspect of the Orelle experience. As things stand I would be unlikely to return to the venue which from all other aspects would be a shame

Had a lovely quiet prix fixe lunch with my sister yesterday. Food and its presentation was beautiful and service was second to none. Fabulous view of city and beyond - would be magical at night. Will definitely be returning.

My wife and I loved the lunch menu so much, the ‘Blackout’ evening was a no brainier. Super romantic and to look out over Birmingham at night was a treat. Again we found the food superb, service to match and at a price point that gave good value for money. Add to that a visit from Kiran Suvarna to the table, makes this a cracking venue for a wonderful night out. From couples to larger parties it’s a gem. Stylish but not stuffy. Super relaxed, no rush. Take it all in. Good work again! PCB ✌🏻

Wonderful experience for black out evening. Lovely candlelit dining. Food was fabulous, although a little rushed between courses. Staff were very attentive & very knowledgeable regarding wine pairings. Our second visit & look forward to our next.

Great venue lovely attentive staff. We had Sunday lunch paid the extra for the crab starter very little crab lovely presentation but sadly underwhelming. The lunch was okay but the gravy that was served was the same for both the chicken and beef. Would I return probably but maybe not for Sunday lunch.
