Orelle is a modern French restaurant located on the 24th floor of 103 Colmore Row, situated in the heart of the city’s business district and comprises a restaurant, cocktail bar, all-day café and terrace.

The name Orelle draws inspiration from the French words for gold (or) and her (elle). It is also the name of a French mountain village.

Orelle offers 360-degree, panoramic views across the city and beyond. Open for lunch and dinner, Orelle will serve a menu featuring both classic and modern French dishes. The small but beautifully designed bar will offer both classic and innovative cocktails, all expertly crafted by some of Birmingham’s best mixologists.

Come and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with family, friends or colleagues. You can enjoy our Christmas Menu for £110 3 courses with a glass of Nyetimber.. Children £50.We require a deposit on the day of your reservation of £110pp and £50pp for children to secure your table. We offer a full refund policy if the booking is cancelled one week before.

The views from my seating area was amazing, service was really good, food if you like fine dinning was nice, I would recommend it.

Fabulous location and space. Ambience and view 2nd to non. Lighting spot on. Service very good and staff very attentive. Food great but the château brand was a little sinewy.

Fabulous evening at Orelle. Arrived early so able to see the sun set and then Birmingham light up. Stunning views. Had great window seat overlooking St Phillip’s Cathedral. Food presented so beautifully. Staff very efficient and helpful.

First visit to Orelle for a 21st birthday celebration. We started with oysters which were super fresh and tasty. The steak was cold and overcooked (ordered medium rare but was closer to medium well). The duck was cooked nicely but the temperature let it down. The portion size was not to generous as would be expected. The really disappointing aspect was the service. From beginning to end, we felt unwelcome and rushed, as if every interaction with a staff member was an inconvenience for them. We also mentioned it was a very significant birthday yet received no celebration or even decent service. The ambience and views are insane, however it is a shame the rest of the evening did not sum to the same. Overall, very disappointing.

However, we’re truly sorry to learn that other aspects of your experience, including the service and food, didn’t meet your expectations, especially for such a special occasion like a 21st birthday celebration. We do want to provide some context regarding the timing of your visit. The reservation was made for 21:00, but as the kitchen was closing shortly after your arrival at 21:20, we had to expedite the order process to ensure we could still serve you. That said, we certainly didn’t intend for this to affect the quality of service, and we regret that it left you feeling rushed and unwelcome. This was such a special evening - THANK YOU! I'm not from the area, but visit Birmingham regularly. My happy place is in a bar/restaurant with a view and I've been following this building since construction begun, so I've been wanting to try this restaurant for YEARS and the experience didn't disappoint. I couldn't fault the service from the moment we were greeted at the door, to when we were given our coats back at the end. The food was incredible and the setting was truly special. We were sat overlooking St Paul's Church and watched the city turn from day to night. I didn't pour a single drink the whole time, the team were on hand to top us up and attend to us. Please pass on my regards to the whole team and keep up the good work. Customer service seems to be lacking lately in this industry (in my opinion) and it was reassuring being looked after at Orelle, once again - THANK YOU!

Visited as a special occasion (wedding anniversary) which was not mentioned by serving staff View's excellent Food okay but not special and little choice on Lunch time menu. A very long wait between main course and dessert. 3 course lunch took 2 and a half hours way too long Will not return for a meal may visit for a drink and view's when next in Birmingham P.S. Sommelier very knowledgeable
