Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

The Peppered Elk was so delicious! My wife had the filet . Everything was cooked perfect . We were definitely impressed by the food and hospitality. 5 stars for sure

This Steamboat institution always delivers on the Western ambiance and friendly, professional service. The salad bar is a classic and there’s nothing like standing in line with your fellow diners to make your own custom creation. I do think the value aspect of Ore House is waning. Despite the included veggie (one floret of broccoli), potato, bland rolls and already mentioned salad bar … the main meat is somewhat underwhelming and the prices have soared. For visitors, it’s a great place for a Steamboat night out.

We decided to sit at the bar so we could eat earlier. Let the hostess know to cancel our res for later. Food was amazing, bartender accommodating and the bus boy kept cleaning away all our plates as soon as we used them !! All was great and we enjoyed our dinner together ❤️

Tom was our waiter. Everything from the bread, cocktails & drinks to the main course was EXCELLENT. Tom was attentive & knew the menu & specials completely! We loved the food, ambiance & will definitely be back.

Great choice of meats and seafood. Wasn’t crazy about the “lump crab” add on that you can do with the Bearnaise sauce. It was more like shredded can crab. But the sauce was great! Ordered the prime rib and it was juicy and cooked perfectly. The house potato and salad bar were really nice as well. Broccoli cooked perfectly and manhattan was made very classic which I enjoyed. Adam was great!

Dinner was wonderful, I had the red mountain trout and my friend had the prime rib. Outstanding customer service. Great salad bar too. A must for dinner.
