Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

Love the mud season prime rib special. Andy is a great server, very kind and professional. Highly recommend based on my experiences!

As usual, our dining experience was fantastic! Our server was respectful of our conversation by just the right amount of “checking in” We were celebrating a milestone birthday, and without having to remind him, he brought out the complementary birthday dessert! Experience was and always has been, delightful, tasteful, and enjoyable! My favorite restaurant in Steamboat!

Maelin the hostess was awesome. Sat us early so we could enjoy a drink before dinner. Matt, our server, was a pro and took good care of us. Food quality was very good but my wife’s sirloin was on the tough side. My prime rib was spot on. Excellent value for two meals and four cocktails for around $100.

We ordered the $20 prime rib dinner special. The salad bar was a treat, it has been a long time since we have been to one. The prime rib was cooked as ordered. Friendly staff and great music, would highly recommend.

It was my birthday dinner party with friends and family and felt that the service was amazing!! Our server was really nice.

We decided to eat there for our 40th Anniversary, heard good things about there food. It was much more than we usually would spend but it was a special occasion. We got there and was seated quickly, our waiter was friendly and very helpful. But then when we got out food, 6 ounce steak and lobster and 10 ounce steak and lobster. 6 ounce was tough little if any seasoning and almost burnt on one side, 10 ounce was tough and little if any seasoning also. The lobsters and all the vegetables had little seasoning on them also. Our bill was $221, we don't spend that kind of money usually so we were really expecting a much better meal.
