Celebrating our 50th year, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar, and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

Nate was our server, and he had a team of servers assisting him with drinks, breads, and the main course. The food was delicious, generous, nicely plated. Clearing the table provided for a few minutes of calm conversation, a moment to reflect and relax.

Had been wanting to go for several years but hadn’t and am not disappointed! The atmosphere was awesome . The staff so friendly. The prime rib was delicious- the fresh horseradish was so good!! It was also great to see so many friendly locals . The place has been stable to the community for many years . It’s evident why .

Service was exceptional!!! Food is amazing…the house potato and Mud Pie…best of the best!!! Also, made our older parents comfortable…they were so patient and kind!!! Love this place!!!

As always, an amazing meal. The restaurant has been a local’s favorite for many years. The prime rib was delicious, along with a 20+ item salad bar that can’t be beat. The western ambiance reminds you of Steamboat’s roots.

Best place in Steamboat it is a classic that you can’t miss when visiting They Prime rib is top quality and for fish lovers the blackened trout is top!

An iconic Steamboat restaurant… pretty much a throwback 70’s Steakhouse including the classic salad bar! I love the ranching community nostalgia decorating the walls… filled with Steamboat history. The place for Prime Rib although I found the 8oz. cut felt skimpy… but delicious! Good wine choices to choose from, too.
