I don’t normally leave reviews but when I got the email asking me to I just had to One of the best afternoons teas I have been to and I been to the likes of the Ritz and Dorchester. Food was amazing, the nicest and softest bread. The chicken corenation wasn’t like any chicken corenation I have had. The flavour the sauce everything was on point. All the flavours were lovely. The tea set and the tea was lovely. The service was perfect - attentive but not too pushy. They actually bought out the scones later so they remained warm which actually is a great idea. Previous teas I’ve gone to the scones have gone hard by the time we have got to them. I can’t comment how the tea room looked as they had a private event in there and they hosted us in the library which also lovely. The team room looks beautiful form the outside. Considering the service and over all quality of tea and it being fairmont I expected it to be more. It was £55pp which was amazing for the price. All in all 10/10. We will definitely be returning for tea and spa.

It was quite loud with some big groups in which can’t be helped but this did take away from the experience a bit. There was a tiny bug on one of the cake flowers which was a shame and a little off putting. Overall it was really delicious and a lovely setting.

Two of us are dairy/gluten intolerant. They did everything to make our visit exceptional.

Lovely experience, beautiful hotel and great staff, sandwiches could have been better and would have have been great to have options. Jasmine Tea gorgeous and extensive list of teas was outstanding.

Sandwiches were delicious and received lots of extra! Our server Max was exceptional and made the whole day, so attentive and friendly without being over bearing.

Ambiance and service were impeccable. Tea was amazing and food was fresh and delightful. Piano music was not overpowering. Pricy but well worth it to experience the opulence of the Fairmont.

The food was exceptional. As was the service . The gentleman in charge was excellent. We felt a little intimidated at first but he made us feel very relaxed. The setting was beautiful. I felt that it was a little expensive but not more so than the ritz or savoy I would definitely recommend for a relaxed afternoon tea We will be back on special occasions
