    This was our first time dining at OPUS. It was a birthday celebration and a party of five. The rooms are lovely, spacious, well maintained and comfortable. The food was pricey, but in line with any upscale steak house with a variety of food offerings beyond steak. The noise level in the main dining room was high mostly attributable to the music—the other rooms and spaces were more quiet. Tables are spaced well so that diners are not seated on top of one another. The one truly outstanding note to make about our experience was the service. Our waiter Henry deserves a special shout out —he was welcoming and hospitable, so knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive to our family and on point with his recommendations. He truly ensured that our evening was as enjoyable as it was.

    Opus always delivers exceptional service. The wait staff are very knowledgeable about the menu, explain the specials with great detail and never make you feel rushed. I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is always exquisite. The fish is brought in fresh daily and never disappoints (I've personally had the Dover Sole and Branzino). Highly recommend for a date night, special occasion.

    We were a party of 10. We had a 6:30 reservation and they didn’t seat us till 7, this was also on a Tuesday night. So it seems they weren’t ready for us. Food was amazing. The service was very curt. We brought our own cakes, since it was both kids graduation dinner and my mom asked for a small piece and the waitress responded” I already cut the pieces, so you will enjoy this one”. I was floored. I didn’t say anything because at the end of the day it was my kids day! I have worked in the industry for many years and never spoke to customers in that manner. I get we are all human and have bad days but all she asked was a small piece of cake.

    My evening began with the signature cocktail, “That’s Amore,” a delightful blend of Fenza fig vodka, pomegranate, lemon, and fresh blueberry, setting a perfect tone for the meal. Chef Richie curated a special tasting menu, showcasing his prowess and even personally presenting many of the dishes. The first course featured a chilled heirloom tomato gazpacho with roasted corn, jumbo lump crab meat, shrimp, and a delicate drizzle of olive oil—a refreshing start with layers of vibrant flavors. Following this, a charcuterie platter presented an array of delicacies: prosciutto de Parma, aged prosciutto, and three distinct spreads—cold tuna, eggplant Kanata, and whipped Parmesan. Accompanied by Spanish manchego cheese, Spanish prosciutto with a strawberry-blueberry preserve, and focaccia-style pita, each bite was a symphony of taste and texture. The Australian lamb chops arrived next, marinated to perfection and served with a fruit mustard composed of dried candied fruit, alongside a mint-infused tzatziki sauce. The frizzy side salad added a refreshing contrast to the rich lamb. The pasta course, Riccia con Tonno, was a delightful mix of tagliatelle and black spaghetti, adorned with tuna, scallops, shrimp, roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus, and a lemon butter sauce, each element harmonizing beautifully. For the grand finale, Branzino over rice with calamari, clams, shrimp, tomatoes, and peas in a beurre blanc sauce was a masterful blend of seafood and delicate flavors, showcasing the chef’s skill in balancing ingredients. Dessert was a spectacular ending: a house-made donut filled with a crème brûlée filling, topped with vanilla bean gelato, accompanied by fresh mixed berries, homemade whipped cream, and a scoop of house-made coconut sorbet—a perfect culmination of the meal. Opus Mediterranean Restaurant excels in every aspect—ambiance, service, and cuisine. The attention to detail is impeccable, with an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.

    We had dinner a couple nights ago and it was absolutley perfect. Back on May 31, I held a 100 person rehearsal dinner there too and it was handled to perfection. Got to give the Scotto staff kudos for such good disciplined efforts and incredible quality food. Thank you. Highly recommended!

    First the baked clams were top notch. Gruper special although very good, the piece of fish was quite small. The mango chutney on top of fish was delish but not enough. There were more cauliflower pieces than fish. Good thing l ordered mashed potatoes on the side. I am usually so happy with my food at Opus. Not this time. My friend had the beef with rigatoni which was very good. Key lime pie excellent.
