The atmosphere was lovely - interesting decor, table nicely spaced and noise level buzzy but not overwhelmingly loud. Cocktails were delicious, highly recommend the Mai Tai! Lots of menu choices and the Chili Beef was the hit of the table. The Chicken Thighs seemed a little overcooked; they were overly crispy but the sauce was good. Service was excellent.

It was family dinner as sister’s birthday. We shared starters and we all had different main dishes, shaking beef, chilli beef, pork belly and duck and all were excellent. Service was very good and server a knowledgeable about wines and food. My sister was given a dessert which was a lovely touch. We had a lovely time, the only thing that came up was the lighting as some members of the family felt it was a little too dark which could make you sleepy.

This was my second time at Opium, and once again, everything was perfect, the food, service, and ambiance. The dishes were incredibly delicious. I highly recommend it!

Our server got annoyed at us as she believed she wasn't getting a tip, saying "no tip" twice to me before my friend gave her the tip we had planned on giving. Other than that it's a lovely place
