When you come to Opheem, you get an insight into the inner workings of my mind. We’re striving to push the boundaries with Indian flavours, but with cooking techniques from all over the world, some traditional, and some very modern. At Opheem, I’ll be using the same paints as I’ve always done, to create a very different picture, on a very, very different canvas. Why? Because to evolve and adapt is what makes us human, and cooking is what sets us apart from the animals.

    This restaurant is the epitome of 2 star Michelin dining it's a showcase of talent creative dining and professionalism in everything that is there. The experience is total the atmosphere, the kitchen, the menu, the presentation, the staff in every respect. It's an honour and a privilege to witness the growth and development of Opheem long may it continue. We'll be back

    It’s hard to put into words how exceptional the food and service were. Watching the staff was like watching a beautifully choreographed dance. Every single course was not only stunning to look at, each tasted divine too. We are so glad we chose this restaurant to experience our first fine dining meal.

    I booked Opheem to celebrate my partners 50th and we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The service was spot on and the food was just incredible!

    A slight quibble with the food in that a liquorice flavour kept recurring and mango was used in four courses. Otherwise the main letdown was the background music which was definitely not too my taste.

    There is not much more to say about Opheem other than it was outstanding. I’d been wanting to visit Opheem for a couple of years but living in the Lake District which is full of excellent Michelin starred restaurants, it is quite the trek to Birmingham for dinner. We finally decided to make the trip to celebrate my 40th birthday and it was absolutely worth it! We’ve been fortunate enough to eat in a number of Michelin starred restaurants both in the UK and abroad and you’re simply, Opheem was the best we’ve had. The flavour of every dish from the amuse bouche’s all the way through to the desserts was exceptional - who knew you could make a simple tomato taste so incredible!? I could wax lyrical about this restaurant for hours, but I won’t go on…. Book the table and make the pilgrimage, it is worth it!

    Absolutely divine food. Attentive but not overly stuffy service. Lovely atmosphere - really liked being able to watch the chefs finishing dishes before they were served. Highly recommended.

    What an amazing experience, we were sad when the evening came to a finish although we were very full so not sure what else we could have fit in. We were blown away by the food, each plate was like having a new culinary adventure. All of the staff were wonderful with the perfect level of attentiveness. We would definitely return.
