Standing out from the crowd, our 400-seater restaurant is housed in a grand Grade II listed building featuring a distinct neoclassical Greek façade and mixes an industrial look with a touch of opulence inside. Opera Grill brings theatre on a grand scale to Chester. At the heart of our menu is the theatre charcoal grill and wood-burning ovens, inspired by revered chefs and restaurants from around the world. The entertainment continues in a first-floor Music Gallery featuring a stage set for live acts every Friday, and a mix of soulful classics performed by our gospel choir every Sunday.
The distinctive spaces in Opera Grill are all available for hire for meetings, conferences and special events with bespoke menus and entertainment packages.

We have limited disabled access, the 1st floor and terrace is not wheelchair accessible.

Fantastic after races experience, great food, great music… very busy so service time was affected but very friendly and hard working staff.

Lovely venue with great atmosphere. Good menu selection food delicious and well presented. Friendly staff provided a great service. Would highly recommend to eat or just have a drink

This was probably our 4th visit to the Opera Grill in the last 18 months; staying in Chester to break our Dublin / London drive. We like the decor / ambience & have always found the food to be varied & of a high standard. Staff are always knowledgeable, friendly & courteous; on this occasion I wish to single out Halle for her overall attitude & level of service.

Really lovely restaurant. We were sat on the roof terrace which was great. Service very attentive without being over bearing and the food was delicious! After our starter it was so nice to be asked if we were ready for our mains or did we want to wait (we waited a bit) and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Would highly recommended
