The location and patio are nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food could be more authentic (I’m Greek) and having hot food served hot would be nice. Dolmathes were dry, Greek salad had very little feta and no oregano. Pastistio was quite a departure from the authentic dish. A wonderful surprise to hear Greek music in the bathroom! Would’ve been nice to hear it in dining room!

I made a reservation for a table at 8:15pm on a Friday through Opentable. When we reached the restaurant, no one greeted or received us for several minutes despite the staff having seen us waiting. One of the staff finally showed up, and the first thing he said to us was that they are closed, and not seating anyone anymore. I informed him that we have a reservation for 8:15, when then he proceeded to check and said, "OK, I will take you this time but we don't seat anyone after 8 so please don't make a reservation after that time next time". If that is true, do they expect people to have telepathy with them about their secret timings? Google and Opentable both show closing time as 9pm and the restaurant's reservation system literally reserved a table for us. To top it off, the food was terrible - chicken was dry and the soup was inedible. We barely ate and decided to go elsewhere and pay for another dinner the same night. Very inappropriate behavior, poor customer service and the food was no good. We are never coming back.

We felt hoodwinked. The craft cocktail menu is creative and started us off well. However, the wait length from the time we ordered until the time we were served was inordinately long. During this time, we had a chance to notice just how loud it is — very difficult to hold a conversation with people at your own table. The food was served lukewarm, which is not a good thing for the pasiticio.

Horrible experience! Came with a party where we had reservations for weeks but they were clearly not ready for customers when they opened at 11am. Waiter was rude to us when we would ask for basics things, and the food took forever! Arrived at 11am, finally able to order at 11:30 because they were out of so many items. Food came out 40 minutes later, including our appetizer which were black falafels completely burnt and raw inside. We were all shocked they would even serve it to us. And to top it off the waiter was shocked we wanted to see the bill before paying. Good news is we had a great time because of the company, but it was one of the worst services I have experienced in a long time. Restaurant was not prepared, food was not good and service was rude and slow! I will not return to this location and its sad to see.

Unfortunately we had a miss at Opa, where we were ignored by staff for long periods of time. We sat outside and this delay and disorganization of service contributed to a poor experience. We got there at 6:15 and there were only a handful of tables inside and overall didn’t seem busy enough to cause such bad service. Our waiter came over right away to take drink orders but then a long gap ensued and a 2nd person - not our waiter - brought over an appetizer that we didn’t order. He just dropped it on the table and left. We had to flag him down to tell them we didn’t order it and he scooped it back up. We asked him to please bring our waiter over so we could order. We waited even longer -still our waiter hadn’t come by- and then the same 2nd person brought us two meals that weren’t ours and we again pointed out that we hadn’t even yet ordered. We finally got a visit from our waiter and placed our order. We never were checked on. I asked for more water and that never happened. We had to ask for another glass of wine and we had to ask for our check after waiting an enormous amount of time after we finished our meal. The food was ok but not great and it could have been because of the disorganization. I wouldn’t go back for fear of another experience like that. They seemed to be clueless on how long we were waiting and how bad the experience was.

The service was not great. The server did not check up on us as often as we would like considering we were the only ones there. Food and drinks were good. The doors were open that allowed for a lot of flies to come in.

Great meal before the Il Divo concert. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, and the service was outstanding.

As usual the staff and Opa! Santa Clara make this restaurant five stars. Marco always goes out of his way to be sure everything is perfect. Even when dealing with two huge groups totaling 20+ they never stop taking care of the smaller tables. Great hustle from everyone there. Oh yeah the food is great too and the Opa! Grand Sangria is the best drink on the menu.
