OOLA Capitol Hill offers craft cocktails showcasing OOLA spirits, elevated bar snacks and PNW casual fine dining, shared plates, driven by the seasons. Executive Chef Elizabeth Blacker creates photo-worthy share plates with the freshest seasonal ingredients with a Pacific Northwest flair.

Nestled in a private courtyard on Union Street between 14th and 15th, OOLA Capitol Hill is a gem of a building with two garage doors opening onto a patio shaded by mature Japanese Maple trees. With 11 seats at the bar and 22 on the floor, it is one of the rare intimate community treasures that make Seattle a marvel.

We also have a Private Dining Room for parties from 8-20.

I am a frequent regular who swears by OOLA and does everything in my power to bring in new people to try out the restaurant. I had my really dear close friends in town from Las Vegas who have been wanting to try OOLA ever since they saw my photos of the space over time. We had a party of 4 that consisted of my best friends, myself and my lovely girlfriend (who is also a huge fan of the restaurant). The place was nice and packed with guests, everyone having a lovely evening enjoying the drinks, the food, the atmosphere and each others company. We started off with some drinks, some bread and butter, and we pondered on the menu for so long because we drifted into conversations as the energy really had us just enjoying the time. We ordered the Tuna Crudo, Wild Boar Meatballs, Shishito Peppers, and the Hanger Steak. All incredible and very delicious. The hanger steak being the star of the night for my best friend who said it was the best steak he has ever had. OOLA is home and everyone that works hard in the place makes sure everyone feels that way. Do yourself a favor and come on in and experience what I experience everytime I am there.

The service and food were both great. We enjoyed the service as well, every person in the building made sure we were being taken care of. The food was solid and they were so nice accommodating some of our dietary restrictions as I’m pescatarian and my friend was pregnant. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy.

Cute place on Capitol Hill. Great staff, unique and delicious sharing plates. Great craft cocktails made with their own distilled alcohol. Highly recommend.

Wonderful gem of a restaurant- stylish, minimalist decor with wood tones, blackened steel and just the right amount of art. Doors open to a lovely patio. We dined inside but enjoyed the view. Great array of small plates offered choices for both of us. Met KT and left with a postcard of her lovely German Shepherd- the restaurant’s namesake. We are from out of town but if we weren’t, OOLA would be in heavy rotation.

Highly recommend the potato rosti and chickpea spatzle. Both were fantastic. The lavender haze drink is one of the best gin drinks I’ve had.
