The Bistro at ONE65 features 2, 3, or 4-course Prix Fixe dinner menus with multiple choices for each course, showcasing local, seasonal fare minimally prepared to allow the ingredients to shine. Guests can choose to sit by the open kitchen and interact with the culinary team for a unique experience, or, opt for the main dining room, with a trendy yet comfortable atmosphere.

ONE65 Bistro is located on the third floor of ONE65, located at 165 O'Farrell Street and just steps away from the heart of Union Square. The Bistro shares a building with ONE65 Patisserie and Boutique, Elements Bar & Lounge, and the Michelin awarded fine dining restaurant, O' by Claude Le Tohic.

Please note that 20% service charge (which includes gratuity) is added for parties of 6 or more guests.

The food is tasty and well prepared but isn’t particularly memorable. Service was very spotty. Our server started strong but fell off as the evening progressed and the restaurant filled up. We were the first seating. They forgot items, served flat sparkling wine, a mint tea with two mint sprigs so tasted like water and then it took them forever to get us a check which had been run incorrectly so had to run again. We were almost late for our 7:30 show and we were done eating by 7. Staff seemed inexperienced.

Beef cheeks were the highlight of our choices, very tender and plated on a nice sauce. We also liked the oysters with accompanying vinaigrette. the oysters were a nice size and color and texture. Came off the shell nicely and the kitchen was careful to give a clean presentation.

This is one amazing restaurant. Great service from the moment you walk up, all the way until you finish. The food was great, we had a prix fix 3 course meal and there was not even a morsel left for the compost bin. Every course starting with the warm garlic sucisson salad, then the crispy onion tart, the Duck pomme puree, and wrapping with the french apple pie... all were delicious and memorable. This is one of the best meals I have had in the US, and the best in SF!

What a delightful dining experience. Upon our arrival we were offered a regular table in the dining room or a seat surrounding the Chef’s area. We have always enjoyed the opportunity to have a place at the Chef’s table. The service was exceptional. We had Devon as our primary server and he was a very enjoyable young man. He described many of the menu items to complete detail. I ordered a glass of Bordeaux wine that was one of the best Bordeaux’s I have ever tasted. I had more questions about the wine and he introduced us to the head Sommelier who was able to answer all of my questions and gave us a very detailed description of the region in France where the wine came from. Our entree’s were outstanding. The restaurant is on the 3rd floor of the building so there is a small bistro at street level where you check in for the restaurant and they escort you to the elevator to get to the 3rd floor. You just see a sign for the restaurant at street level so don’t let that discourage you thinking there is nothing here. Take the elevator to one of the best French restaurants in San Francisco and you will not be disappointed.
