Stunning location so I know that there is a price to pay for that BUT the food portions were poor and expensive. Sadly, although I will definately be back but not to eat in the restaurant. Also, I did not appreciate 10% service charge being added without my permission.

We were shown to our table and ignored for a while. Eventually a waitress came to take our drinks order and was surprised we hadn’t been given a menu to peruse. Not a particularly inspiring menu, particularly with the starters…. But that was only the start of the problems. After 45 minutes we had to ask where the starters were…. They cam 10 minutes after that 2 salmon salad and 3 haloumi. Not much cooking required. A complimentary bottle of wine was given. To be fair the food tasted good. The mains of 3 linguine 2 without muscles …. 2 arrived with muscles …. And the one without had a lot of fish but very little pasta. The other mains of risotto and fish of the day were tasty. Overall a disappointing visit and because signal reception is so poor we couldn’t order a taxi and we not only had to walk up the steps but walk home! It’s a great place …. Just not on this night.

Fantastic food. Great atmosphere. Busy but not overcrowded. Live DJ was very good Thoroughly enjoyed it 3 of us and all very pleased with the evening

Absolute perfection from start to finish. The waiting staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. The scenery was out of this world. Perfect!

The adults food was fine but the children’s roast was tiny and we had to order chips to fill the children up, there was 1 roast potato cut in half and the tinest slice of beef you have ever seen.

We were in Cornwall for a week and came here twice. Both experiences were excellent but particularly our visit last night. We has to cut our evening short and needed to get our food boxed up for takeaway, the staff were so so accommodating and lovely, especially the lovely front of house and chefs, who gave us a complimentary dessert which was so nice. They are so sweet and the food is excellent as well as the location. Thanks so much

Superb meal, staff and chef were so helpful to cater for my gluten / dairy free needs. Menu clearly labelled gives a person with coeliac confidence. Chef was also happy to amend dishes as well.

Fabulous table and view. We were a little cramped but we are all tall. The waiter was very nice but I think new to the role. It took a very long time to get drinks but our order was correct and the food was really good! Overall and excellent experience and I would definitely go again and recommend. Price-wise it worked out at £120 a head for a 3 course meal and mostly soft drinks but a couple of cocktails - we made sure to order tap water not bottled still water.

Great service in a lovely place. It was lovely to sit looking out to sea eating a fabulous meal. The food was well presented, great value for money and really nice. The staff were friendly and attentive and the décore and atmosphere was relaxed with a restaurant feel.

Food was okay although a few things not listed correctly. The courgette fritters are actually courgette tempura (just courgettes deep fried), bread and things states it comes with focaccia when it’s sliced french style baguette, same with the mussels- no focaccia as listed. Didn’t realise there was a cocktail menu & we asked if we could order cocktails from the bar below as the drinks list didn’t have any cocktails on it. Our waitress said this was fine, came back to seeing the table next to us with cocktails from 129, strange we weren’t offered any. Views, live music & ambiance make up for it all though, & the manager of the restaurant was very attentive and welcoming.
