The view was beautiful but the food needs serious improvement! The food was edible, but nothing I couldn't have done myself at home. Basic, bland food with a hefty price tag. All you need is the food to be better and you have the full package. Currently, I believe because you have the location, the food quality doesn't matter.

Fantastic as always. The food, service and atmosphere are exemplary, and the fact that it's on the best beach in Newquay is a massive plus!

Lovely dining experience, thoroughly enjoyable on all counts. Waitress was very accommodating even though they were very busy.

Overpriced tbh and was quite disappointed, not much on offer on the menu for teenagers in terms of options and very overpriced £25 for a steak which was requested medium to well, arrived over cooked and chewy, noodles missing from the dish my husband ordered. Generally underwhelmed £5 for a kids starter and £9 for a kids pudding! Fish goujons for mains which was actually one fish goujon not the plural also at £9 poor value overall and probably won’t go back

I wasn’t aware when I booked that a wedding was taking place. Perhaps this was mentioned somewhere but if it was I missed it. Therefore we weren’t able to sit on the upper deck but were instead near the kitchen and couldn’t see the sea until the wedding ceremony was over. The staff were very good though and the food was decent enough. The Prawn Thai Curry was more like a Thai Noodle dish though and quite expensive at £23. Generally a nice lunch but not quite as special as I wanted it to be for my in-laws who were visiting Lusty Glaze for the first time.

So disappointed. Booked for anniversary. After 90 minutes all we’d had was bread. Steaks were poor quality and undercooked. Staff were polite and friendly but seemed like they couldn’t cope or hadn’t been trained. They did discount the bill so respect that they acknowledged the experience was as poor as it was. Approach with caution. Great views though.

Came last year and the food was amazing especially the cook your own steaks on a plate. Menu has changed and not for the best. Soup was not good and the steaks were terrible

The staff were all amazing and so friendly. The food was fabulous and exceeded expectation. The very fact that dogs are welcome in the restaurant has made the experience more memorable. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. We will be back!
