                                                                                                                The food was very nice I have no issue with that, but it took a while for our drinks order to be taken and we were seated downstairs near the door so it was very cold. I had to eat with my jacket on. This was our first time so I wasn’t aware that there was seating downstairs, so I assumed we would be in the rooftop. Two ladies came in after us, they was supposed to be sat next to us but they asked to go upstairs and they were allowed, so I asked and was told no. I was told that because I booked online (which doesn’t give you the option to specify seating upstairs) they couldn’t do anything. Apparently if you call to book you will be asked. I think the website needs updating given we are in 2024/2025 and you would expect most people to book online.

                                                                                                                Food very good and represents good value for money, DJ playing upstairs was an excellent move, struck the notes for a very chilled and relaxed atmosphere. The only negatives was the table wasn’t ready for us when we arrived, still messy from previous customers, we would have been happy to wait downstairs with a drink before going to it… young team working and is in need of an experienced front of house manager to pull it all together! Would recommend the restaurant and will be going back again

                                                                                                                Venue looks absolutely stunning, food was cooked and seasoned to perfection, Service was exceptional, staff were very attentive polite and professional. The pricing reflects the high standards cooking skills and the quality of produce used. Cocktails were delicious and they also provide high end champagne. We would highly recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone who appreciates this level of sophisticated dining & hospitality and we definitely will be returning , thank you for an amazing birthday meal x

                                                                                                                The food was fantastic, one of the best steaks I have had. The service was very slow, but I think this was down to it being two days before Christmas and it was very busy. Despite that, I would definitely visit again for a steak.

                                                                                                                Seating and tables were very nice. Our first waiter, Leanna, was lovely but then a man took over and he wasn't as good. The food was ok but I've had better steaks at the Lantern and thought it was slightly overpriced. Clientele were rowdy, so if you're going for a chat with friends, I'd avoid but if you're out with the girls/boys or looking for a livelier setting, then more for you.

                                                                                                                Had a great time, could tell some of the staff were new but they did good, food was amazing the only thing I'd do next time is ask for the steaks to be sliced into strips on the share platter as would have made it easier but I know for next time to ask, but the food was amazing and IV recommended it to everyone, the DJ played some great tunes at a good enough level to still be able to talk but it really did set the mood with the lights (we were on the roof area)
