Unique venue, good food, the staff are lovely but the service was slow and it wasn't that busy.

One Garden is a very beautiful place as is it's restaurant, however, even though the staff were really charming, helpful, polite, especially the young man who served us, the food was not. There were 3 of us and we ordered breakfasts (10.30 in the morning) The eggs were all overcooked, the bacon had been reheated, the hashbrown was just mashed potato fried in some breadcrumbs. The sausage was a tasteless pate'. Mine had the food stuffed into a very overcooked and reheated croissant. So sorry, I would not recommend the restaurant a place to go. The bill was £58 - not cheap

Great setting outside looking onto beautiful roses. Very attentive staff, served fresh and tasty food. Perfect spot to meet freinds and enjoy the park. Only thing to say is the online menu was totally different to the offering on the day. Would highly recommend for casual lunch

We have eaten at One Garden before but were disappointed with the choices from the menu and the service was not up to the usual standard. They were short staffed but we had to wait a very long time to be served and then for our food (with reminders).

One of the most beautiful venues in Brighton and a little hidden gem away from the city in the depth of nature. It is a tonic for the soul and a real joy to visit. When this venue first opened, the food was incredible with seasonal locally sourced food. While the latter is still the case the food is below average with a “salad” containing tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce leaf for 12 pounds! Where is the seasonal veg/leaves /herbs seeds and nuts! You can of course add a protein source and the scotch egg was good thankfully. The staff are attentive but definitely were not as happy as the original team who were vibrant, friendly and felt part of the whole one kitchen experience.

Lovely setting. Food is average and could be a bit more interesting. Clearly understaffed as service is slow but staff very pleasant .

Very disappointing - food very bland - eggs and avocado - tasteless. Luke warm. Very friendly and helpful staff. Potentially lovely venue.
