It's no wonder this restaurant has gotten recognition from James Beard. Really interesting, innovative food. The blue crab aquachile was outstanding and the cacio e pepe was better than any I've had at top Italian restaurants. All four of us came away as very happy campers. It's a small space so plan your reservation well in advance though there is walk in bar service. The outdoor seating is less than desirable but it is easier to hear each other there as the noise level inside can be challenging. Service was very attentive and the house cocktails are top notch.

First off, I have dined here and have always loved and raved about the food, the ambiance etc. Sadly, last night, we were disappointed primarily with our food. 2 of us shared the Cacio e pepe and all diners at the table sampled and agreed it was overly salty. The sauce did not resemble the typical cheese and peppery expectations but rather there seemed to be very little pepper and the saltiness in the dish overwhelmed the entire taste of the meal. My husband's scallops were over cooked and not warm-seemingly as if "refired" and not hot out of the skillet? I do not like to be negative and leave poor reviews (knowing the true aspiration and passion involved) but I have to be honest with this experience. I am only writing this to share our true experience for the staff. We will return, as we adore this restaurant and the overall experience, with hopes that this was not the norm.

This was our first time here but not our last- everything was exceptional. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 30th anniversary- the cocktails had a unique twist, we wish we had room to try everything on the menu but we split the catfish and steak both were prepared to perfection, topping off the meal with an amazing cheesecake!

The Appetizers were AMAZING! The cocktails were delicious. The Dinner was great. The server was very attentive. Overall a great experience! I love this place.

The ambience is charming Cocktails and wine are well crafted and curated - cucumber app- too chunky, dressing was bland..conceptually creative and pretty but pretty bland - tuna crudo was overwhelmed by XO sauce - catfish was crispy and delectable but could use more sauce - the double cut porkchop was exceptional!..well brined/ seared and the flavorful side- rabe/ carrot puree could be a meal unto itself - met the chef- humble/ affable/ talented and driven…perfect for us!
