Let’s start by saying the food was excellent. However, after being sat at the table for one hour we were explicitly told that we were required to vacate table within next 15 minutes. This felt that we were then rushing our desserts and coffees. 10 minutes later we were then asked whilst still chewing on my tiramisu if I would be ready to have the bill…. I still had half a cup of cappuccino to drink. This was extremely annoying as not only did we feel rushed but we’d waited ages to order to the point we had to ask to order. You should at least allow an hour and a half for your customers before you need to take the table back - maybe don’t take so many bookings if you can’t allow your customers to enjoy their meal. Also it was a bit cheeky they added a service charge to the bill too.

Delicious food and fantastic service ! Highly recommended dishes include the pumpkin fritte, carbonara, pizzettas, vodka & nduja pasta, and the tiramisu.

It's an amazing place to eat! We shared pumpkin frittes, which were delicious along with a pepperoni pizzetta, carbonara, vodka pasta, and beef ragu! All of it was so delicious! The Limoncello Spritz were great, as was the lager! We finished our night with the famous Tiramisu for dessert, which definitely met the hype that we have seen on Instagram! Staff were friendly and helpful and made recommendations as it was our first visit! The venue is gorgeous, and the music playlist was right up our street! The atmosphere was perfect, and it was lovely to see the chefs in action, too! We have already said we will be back and definitely will be recommending to all our friends!

Food beautiful. Had 2 children with us and they loved the food as much as all the adults nothing was left. Totally understand that food brought to table when ready and is fab for all dishes just when came to dessert we all had desserts but with they came at different times some had finished before everyone got theirs. Then think service charge should be left off and people tip what want. But would definitely go again!!

The food was decent however, we had to wait probably over 40 minutes for two plates of carbonara, the people next to us who’d ordered after us got their food faster, thought they’d forgotten our order.. After a while they brought out one of the carbonaras followed by a 3 minute wait for the 2nd one… Honestly, I’ve had better food and better service in other restaurants for a similar price, if not less…

One of the nicest pastas I have ever had - the lumache with vodka sauce and n’duja is absolutely incredible as is the focaccia and trio of butters. Ambience and service also very pleasant. Will definitely return.

We were running late to our booking and we let them know so they graciously allowed us some extra time to arrive. Upon arrival we were stunned by the interior design and ambience. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We were seated at a corner table allowing my partner to look out across the restaurant to a spectacular view of everyone dining and enjoying their evening. There is as open kitchen and a workbench so you may watch the chefs at work. We ordered a garlic parsley and mozzarella pizzetta and a trio of butter to start (which we dipped the crust in) which was amazing really yummy and doughy. And the garlic parsley pizzetta mixed with the butter was delicious. I had the ragu which was absolutely sublime rivalling my memories of the taste of beef ragus I’ve had in Italy. My partner had the Lumache with vodka sauce and ’nduja which was also really tasty and I believe one of go to dishes. To end the meal we shared a massive Tirimisu which was so creamy and delicious perfect way to end the meal. We had a 500ml decanter of the house red which was very nice and paired well with my ragu and my partner had the house orange wine which we weren’t totally sold on to be honest but wanted to try as we had never had it and understand that it is trendy at the moment. Overall we throughly enjoyed our time dining at Onda pasta bar and there was so much more on the menu which sounded so good and we would definitely dine again.
