We were running late to our booking and we let them know so they graciously allowed us some extra time to arrive. Upon arrival we were stunned by the interior design and ambience. We were greeted by friendly and attentive staff. We were seated at a corner table allowing my partner to look out across the restaurant to a spectacular view of everyone dining and enjoying their evening. There is as open kitchen and a workbench so you may watch the chefs at work. We ordered a garlic parsley and mozzarella pizzetta and a trio of butter to start (which we dipped the crust in) which was amazing really yummy and doughy. And the garlic parsley pizzetta mixed with the butter was delicious. I had the ragu which was absolutely sublime rivalling my memories of the taste of beef ragus I’ve had in Italy. My partner had the Lumache with vodka sauce and ’nduja which was also really tasty and I believe one of go to dishes. To end the meal we shared a massive Tirimisu which was so creamy and delicious perfect way to end the meal. We had a 500ml decanter of the house red which was very nice and paired well with my ragu and my partner had the house orange wine which we weren’t totally sold on to be honest but wanted to try as we had never had it and understand that it is trendy at the moment. Overall we throughly enjoyed our time dining at Onda pasta bar and there was so much more on the menu which sounded so good and we would definitely dine again.

Each pasta dish we tried was fantastic. Best carbonara we’ve had since Rome. Other great dishes include the vodka pasta, the ragu, the crab pasta and the cacio e Pepe. But we would love to see an amatriciana on the menu!

Really delicious food which was let down by the 4 visits to our table to tell us we had ‘not long left’ on our table then ‘your ok for now’ then ‘30 minutes left’ then ‘15 minutes left’ which finally was ended with the bill being put down which would have been enough on its own. The rocket & mint salad also only had 2 mint leaves in it. What could have been lovely was unfortunately spoilt.

Excellent lunchtime experience at Onda. First time visiting and the food was incredible. Service was amazing too. Will definitely be back!

Delicious food and pleasant atmosphere. The best affogato I've ever had. The servers recommend sharing plates but you won't want to give anything away, it's that good. I would like to see a bit more variety in the dishes with more vegetables as some of the creamier pastas are quite rich. Vegetarian options are quite limited due to the rennet used in several non-meat dishes.

Amazing food, best Italian food I have had in Manchester. Unique fresh and flavourful. Staff so lovely and helpful. Can’t wait to come back, thankyou!

Great evening. Good cocktails and the food was brilliant. Was a little rushed by the waiting staff to pay when we were still eating our desserts though which wasn’t great.

We visited Onda for our 1 year anniversary. The vibe in the restaurant is great, its not to loud or crowded even though it is very busy. We waited a long time for a food unfortunately due to a mistake with the order however the staff were very apologetic about this and gave us 50% off the bill and a free dessert! So cant complain. The actual food is to die for! Definitely get the Focaccia and three butters. My favourite was the beef Ragu pasta and my boyfriends was the vodka sauce pasta. We finisher up with some tirimisu. We will definitely come again if we can get a reservation lol.
