Le 3800 Ocean propose une «cuisine collective." Les menus sont inspirés non seulement par l'abondance locale des récoltes renommées du sud de la Floride qui se développent dans un climat accueillant, mais également pas les saveurs régionales qui agitent les âmes de l'équipe de collaboration des chefs. Chaque chef apporte un nouvel éclairage sur la table : les plats favoris de la cuisine réconfortante de la Nouvelle-Angleterre; le feu et les épices du Mexique; les traditions des Caraïbes de la Jamaïque; et les classiques sans âge de Long Island. L'abondance de produits et des fruits de mer locaux frais permet au restaurant de prendre ce concept cuisine-salle à manger collective littéralement. Tous les plats sont préparés de A à Z. I was excited to take my wife to a nice Valentine’s Day dinner with three course prix fixe menu. The prix fixe was supposed to include Prosecco. We had to ask twice for it. My wife’s soup appetizer was cold and the sides to the entrees were lukewarm. Our waters were never refilled. It took a good 30 mins or more between the appetizers and the entrees. The waiter kept apologizing for the wait and offered my wife a free glass of Prosecco. Overall this was the worst dining experience.

Make sure you dine before sunset, and request a window seat to see a beautiful sunset. Food was 'fair'....the salad (tomatoes, watermelon, etc.) unbeknownst to me, had hot peppers on top of tomatoes, which I was not prepared for and it took me by surprise and I began choaking. The mezza appetizer was also very spicy. Steak was a little over-done but my Mahi fish was very good. Just make sure you ask about spicyness of the meal before ordering!

While sitting at a table watching the ocean, palms and sand, we received superb service from a server who was attentive, amiable and professional who seemed genuinely happy to provide us with delightful and unique salads, as well as a salmon perfectly cooked and a sea bass artistically plated and beyond delicious. Having eaten at some of the world’s finest restaurants, Ono easily met the mark.

Mediocre food. Too expensive. Not many choices. Our waiter definitely needs more training. He was slow and had trouble understanding us. I ordered the scallops. The other 3 people heard me order scallops not too raw. I got a weird Shrimp dish. The waiter said he wrote down shrimp. I did not. I’m highly allergic to shrimp. I had one and realized it was shrimp. The waiter brought the correct dish after my other 3 friends finished theirs. Unfortunately I had a terrible reaction and had to go to Urgent Care where I got a steroid shot. Ona is supposed to be fabulous. Unfortunately it is not and it’s quite expensive. Very disappointing since we were with friends and I recommended ONA. Big mistake. Very disappointed to say the least. ((Also they really never apologized for anything and there were mistakes.

Our server Maria was pleasant, polite, and on point. The portions were decent and the food itself was quite tasty. We also had a great beach view by the window.
