Would highly recommend a meal at On the Quay. I've already booked a return visit. The service was of a high standard and the food was delicious. I had the Early Bird menu and chose the 2 course option for £29.95. Having tasted the quality I would happily book to eat a la carte in the future.

Great food/wine, great service and value for money . So good we went back for a second evening during a 2 night stay in the Island.

A group of 7 adults & 1 dog. All enjoyed their meals and especially the cocktails. Staff friendly, food very good, benches we sat on a little low for the table but cushions available. Second time here and would go again.

Food and service were great as usual but special mention for the Lemon Tart dessert - amazing. Will definitely return

Visited for special birthday, arrived a few mins early and were sat down round the back by the kitchen entrance. Really scruffy area - sticky table, staff kept their bags and mobile chargers there. Dirty tea towels, etc. Our server didn’t bring anything to the party in terms of a welcome. Out came the order iPad thing and she began ticking off the items on our order. We ordered a couple of pappardelle and the seafood skewer. Pasta was overcooked and in a bland sauce - felt like the chef had opened a tin of tomatoes, sprinkled a handful of oregano on it and then chucked it out. Seafood skewer was disappointing too, a handful of mixed seafood, a couple of bits soggy, raw battered fish. All covered in a very sweet (too sweet) sauce. Left most of it behind. IMHO - don’t bother with the place.

Loved the robot waiters and the human ones were great too! Excellent local food creatively presented.

A nice meal in a pleasant dog friendly restaurant, literally located on a quay in the main harbour. Nice pre meal drink options but food delivered a little quickly to enjoy them. Had to remind staff that ordered wine had not been brought though. Good food but a pity that the special burger and chips was served on a plastic tray (reported to staff). Food and drink options were very good in a lovely restaurant in a glorious location.

Could do with comfier seats in Gastro room but otherwise fantasic experience and great meal. Team serving us were great.
