Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. For groups larger than 8 people, or if you have any questions about making a reservation please call the restaurant or contact us at info@ometeotexmex.com. We look forward to your visit!

The place is gorgeous, the food was good ok but a bit on the salty side. It does get loud in the restaurant. Overall it was a good experience. Parking is a bit confusing.

Small portions for price charged and took forever for several to handle our table. Also not polite to us as we waited covered for our drinks

Love the gluten free menu - thank you! This was our second time dining here and the food was good. The chips are a little odd, but they grow on you. Salsas are delicious. Chicken in the chicken fajitas was a bit bland and under seasoned (needed salt?), but was improved with the addition of the red chile paste and crema provided on the side. I’m not really a fan of having the cheese come out on the hot fajita plate and may ask for that on the side next time. Interesting idea, but I find it messy. Homemade corn tortillas are delicious. The queso was basic and beneath a restaurant of this caliber and I would not order that again. Would love to see a more upscale queso fundido, which would be a better fit for this nice menu. Pork enchiladas were good, but needed a bit of seasoning in the filling and could be more generous with the enchilada sauce. Would love to see a braised beef barbacoa enchilada. And it would be great if you could make your own set of three enchiladas, perhaps a pork/beef, chicken, and cheese versions…? Will try the chicken next time. Rice and beans are nicely done. The Ometeo margarita was tasty. Would love to see some more margarita variety - maybe something fruity (watermelon?) and some more interesting and more elevated options. Ometeo is off to a solid start. We will be back. We hope to see things continue and develop. And the service is great.

Fun atmosphere. Love the different areas - the indoor bar, the upstairs lounge, the covered outdoor bar. Good cocktails and food.

Beautiful location, what a nice surprise to fins this place in Tysons. The most beautiful Mexican restaurant in the NOVA area. Everyone greets you with the smile. It feels like dining at high end Mexico City restaurant. Tried the Pato Tacos and were delicious. The flautas were tasty but arrived a little cold. I’m going to blame it on were dining kind of late. Will definitely go back!

Awesome place. Outdoor seating was great. Decor inside was nice and had good rooms for private events.

Excellent as usual. I think that we have been to Ometeo about 6 times. I highly recommend the beef cheek barbacoa z but honestly everything is always great!

Went here because of good write up in the Northern Virginia Magazine. Thought we would check it out. It was a Sunday night. Not sure if Sunday is a bad day to go, or if they are understaffed. From the time we sat down until the time we finally got our check --- it was a 2.5 hour ordeal. The waiter was friendly enough, but never followed through on what he said he was going to do. It seemed clear that some of the entrees had been sitting for a while. Disappointing but maybe a Sunday night problem?

Appreciate you giving us a try but of course very disappointed we did not live up to expectations. Sunday typically is a great day to visit us and we pride ourselves on delivering the same top notch experience anytime our doors are open. Whenever that doesn't happen we definitely do want to know about it so we can review the experience with team and address where and why we fell short and how we can improve upon that. If you could reply privately with your reservation info we'd appreciate it so we can better follow up on your visit and address your issues with your server and the kitchen team.
