Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. For groups larger than 8 people, or if you have any questions about making a reservation please call the restaurant or contact us at info@ometeotexmex.com. We look forward to your visit!

I'm gluten-free and the menu had so many choices for me. The lobster tostada starter was -- hands down -- one of the more delicious things I've ever eaten. Everything was flavorful and the service was great!

The location of Ometeo to the Capital One Hall is great. The atmosphere, food and service were very good and I will most definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We love being neighbors to the Cap One Hall and are working hard to be everyone's go to spot whenever attending a show. Food was delicious, but it was obvious that we were being rushed to leave. I understand table turn over, but the facility wasn't very busy & we were only there for an hour and 15 minutes.

Overall bad experience. Service was poor and very rushed. Food decent. Sat us at a terrible table in crowded section of restaurant when other areas were completely open. Server spilled a dish on my wife’s dress and barely stopped to apologize.

So disappointed to see this review. That is certainly not a typical Ometeo experience and we will be reaching out privately for some more information on your visit so we can fully review your visit. I assure you we take feedback like this very much to heart and do use it to identify issues, coach the team and learn from it. Please accept our sincere apologies and hopefully you will see fit to give us another opportunity to prove to you that this was indeed an unfortunate very off experience and not a true Ometeo experience. Would really hate for this one visit to be the only impression you have of us as we are much better than that.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly set the tone for the evening. The décor, a vibrant blend of traditional Mexican elements with a modern twist, created a lively yet cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Food was very good: from the snapper with garlic mojo to the delicious chicken enchiladas, each bite reminded us of a trip to Mexico. Rice and beans were flavorful and had just the right amount of kick. The guacamole and salsa were fresh and bursting with flavor. Portion sizes were generous, leaving us completely satisfied. The tres leches cake and frozen ponche provided a memorable finale to an outstanding dinner. Service was also commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations. Our orders were delivered promptly, and throughout the meal, the team checked in to ensure everything was perfect without being intrusive. Overall, this Tex-Mex spot delivered on all fronts – great food, excellent ambiance, and solid service. We will definitely come back!

super convenient across from capital one hall and they give you a skip the line card so you can eat and take your time to walk over to the show.

Really enjoyed but too loud. Maybe another section of the restaurant would be better?we couldn’t even hear the waiter give menu descriptions and we were so interested b/c it was our first visit. Very nice waiter and excellent service.

We do also appreciate your note regarding restaurant volume - the restaurant can certainly be a bit lively at times but we do still have lots of quieter cozy areas and corners so have added a "quieter seating" note to your reservation profile for future visits and we'll be sure to take that into account next time you join us. First time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, very attentive and polite. The food was delicious. I had the taco salad with steak, it was fresh and delicious. My friend had the carnitas tacos , and loved them. Oh, and can’t forget the wonderful margarita. If you are looking for good food, great service and a beautiful restaurant this place a must try.
