Omakai Sushi is nestled in the historic downtown San Jose, one block away from the art walk. The restaurant includes a spacious cocktail bar, sushi bar where you can have an amazing Omakase experience , and an outdoor patio area by the fountain. Open for lunch & dinner, starting at 3:00 pm until 11:00pm. The menu features abundant nigiri and sashimi selections starting with local tuna, white fish, toro, salmon belly with truffle, uni ,Omakase or tasting menus, offer a memorable opportunity to savor the restaurant’s many distinctive flavors.

This was our first visit and we loved the omakase. Food was excellent as were the chefs. Have told all our friends who visit cabo and will certainly be back!

From the moment we walked in , the staff was attentive and welcoming . The atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Our food was outstanding , fresh , clean and delicious. Highly recommend

Premium omakase was 20 courses therefore good value. Surprised by so many empty chairs on Saturday for a Michelin restaurant. Although rice needs work, variety of fish was great. Flavors and uniqueness of individual bites were average to above. They might benefit for wine vs sake pairing. Overall left very full and happy.

Was disappointed - expected better from Michelin restaurant - ordered Chirashi Don with premium fish - never knew avocado was a premium fish. Sushi rice was a bit hard and too strong on the vinegar. Grew up in Japan and have a Japanese mother so I’m choosy about my sushi. Must say the sake-tini was delish.

I wish I had remembered to get the name of our server because he was fantastic. We did a variation of the omakasi. The fish was so fresh and delicious! The tables are set up in a small outdoor courtyard so the ambiance is very nice. I would definitely go back!

World Class sushi!!!!!! Having lived in Cabo for many years I had given up on sushi in Baja California ...., this is much better than Nobu or elsewhere. Having visited Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe, and Osaka this last summer I visited many Michelin stared restaurants. OMAKAI sushi deserves its Michelin Book rating. Price was fair for the quality. Will return soon.

Fabulous omakase dinner at the sushi bar with the chef preparing the freshest of the day. The special menu is a bit too large so we took some of the sushi home to enjoy the next day.

Great food, one of the best Sushi in Cabo. However, The waitress was not professional at all, bad attitude, seemed she did not want to be there and rude.
