The restaurant opens at 11:30 am, and my reservation was also for 11:30 am. However, when I arrived at 11:33 am, the doors were still locked. I waited outside for ten minutes, but nothing happened. I even tried knocking on the window to get the bartender’s attention, but I was ignored. It’s frustrating that they accept reservations for 11:30 am if they can’t open on time. It’s a shame because the one time I dined there, the food was excellent

A friend and I grabbed dinner here before a concert at the Westville music bowl. I wish I remember our servers name but he greeted our table with a “How you doinnnn,” and immediately we both liked him. He was personable but also provided top notch service. The food was TOP TIER for the value. I cannot get over my steak Caesar salad that had an entire steak on top. Anywhere else, you would pay the same price for half of the meat. We both agreed we will be back.

Fun menu that feels like you are looking through a vintage magazine. Pasta was very well cooked and the main courses were delicious, sauces were very flavorful. Appetizer was Arancini's in a vodka sauce, it was amazing, cooked beautifully. Perfect outside crunch and tender on the inside. Paired will with the calamari appetizer, the addition of battered hot peppers with the squid was ingenious and a pleasant surprise. Cocktails were absolutely delicious, black magic solid #2 spot, but the Blueeebeeery was definitely the favorite. The waitress Bree was charming and delightful. Perfect manners and would give honest opinions on all the ordered choices and gave personal recommendations. She was also attentive and polite.

Really enjoyed our lunch here. Restaurant is well-located across from the New Haven Omni Hotel at Yale. Easy nearby parking. Comfortable, open air seating. Caesar salad was excellent. Shared a wonderful gluten-free veggie pizza with my wife and couldn’t tell it the crust was gluten-free. Pizza leftovers lasted two days, so a very generous pie. Would definitely return when we are back in town.

The food was amazing! The drinks were very good. Everyone was accommodating. The only downside was it felt a little rushed when we arrived and throughout the dinner
